‘Fifty Shades Darker’ Star Jamie Dornan Finally Opens Up About Those Dakota Johnson Affair Rumors
After a year filled with rumors, Jamie Dornan is finally speaking out about his alleged affair with Fifty Shades Darker co-star Dakota Johnson. What did Dornan have to say about his secret romance with Johnson?
According to Enstarz, the actor denies that anything happened outside of work. Dornan admitted that he and Johnson are friends but claims they kept things strictly professional while filming the erotic drama together.
Dornan and Johnson were plagued with romance rumors ever since they started working together on Fifty Shades of Grey. With the upcoming sequel featuring even hotter sex scenes between the stars, those rumors only got worse.
The rumors went beyond Dornan’s relationship with Johnson. Reports also indicated that Dornan’s wife, Amelia Warner, was unhappy with his part in the hit franchise. She allegedly went so far as pushing Dornan to call it quits and spend more time with his family.
Dornan and Warner just had their second baby together and are rumored to be expecting a third kid. Warner’s pregnancy has not been confirmed, though she was spotted wearing loose clothes on a recent outing. Given the actor’s recent comments, he is clearly supportive of his wife and is not looking to start a secret romance.
Meanwhile, Perez Hilton is reporting that producers have released a new trailer for Fifty Shades Darker along with a new track by Zayn Malik and Taylor Swift. The trailer is the second look at the coming film while the new song, “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever,” came in the form of a music video.
The video features cuts of Dornan and Johnson as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele. Most of the cuts are scenes that were featured in the first two trailers, but the actors still bring plenty of sex to the table.
Speaking of the trailer, Inquisitr has previously reported that the second trailer proves that Fifty Shades Darker is going to feature plenty of steamy scenes between Dornan and Johnson. This includes an erotic moment in a crowded elevator and a sexy shower scene.
While fans eagerly wait for the film, Dornan and Warner were spotted together at the British Independent Film Awards. The pair looked closer than ever as they watched an event at Old Billingsgate in London. Dornan rocked a casual look for the festivities while Warner wore a loose fitting dress.
With his work on the Fifty Shades franchise now complete, Dornan is looking to move on with his career in Hollywood. In fact, the actor is looking forward to the release of the new season of The Fall and hopes that his work in television overshadows everything else.
“I guess there’s a part of me that wants to be recognized for something like my TV show work,” he admitted. “The Fall is so engrossing and I threw myself so hard at this project. I get so deep into the heart of this terrible person.”
When it comes to relating to his characters, Dornan admitted that he isn’t into the same things as Christian Grey, especially in the bedroom. “No. I’m not into that,” he stated. “My wife isn’t either. It’s funny. Obviously, there’s a huge market for it, a lot of people are into a certain type of sex but I am just not one of those people. It doesn’t interest me at all. So, I don’t think those roles have had any influence over our sex life.”
Fans can watch Dornan and Johnson together once again when Fifty Shades Darker opens in theaters on Feb. 10, 2017. The third film in the franchise, Fifty Shades Freed, is expected to be released the following year.
