Jennifer Lawrence Reacts To Nick Jonas’ Crush And Hints New Boyfriend
Ever since Jennifer Lawrence broke up with on-again-off-again boyfriend Nicholas Hoult and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, the actress has become more elusive when it comes to dating men. During a guest appearance on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live, the host asked the 26-year-old actress if she would consider going out with Nick Jonas.
The “Jealous” hitmaker admitted several months ago that he has a crush on the Hunger Games star. According to HollywoodLife.com, the 24-year-old singer was playing the game “To Bae or Not To Bae” on Capital FM’s radio show. When asked what he thinks of JLaw, he chose her to be a girlfriend material.
“To bae for sure,” he said. “That needs no explanation. We know why. What’s not to love?”
Nick Jonas has already shown interest in Jennifer Lawrence that’s why Andy Cohen wanted to know if she also feels the same way. However, the blonde beauty answered safely as if she was trying to hint that she already has a boyfriend that’s why it is not possible to date the pop star as of the moment.
“Oh my god! I guess that changes everything,” she giggled. “I wish he had told me before I came on the show!”
The host tried to confirm if the Oscar winner is seeing someone right now, but she refused to answer and just blew bubbles in her drink. It looks like the Passengers star is trying to keep her love life a secret this time after her failed relationships with Nicholas Hoult and Chris Martin.
Back in April, Jennifer Lawrence told Harper’s Bazaar that anything she says about boys gets picked up maybe that’s why she avoids giving a comment on anyone including Nick Jonas to avoid the rumors. The actress, who has been single for quite some time, also confessed that she doesn’t have a type and it can be seen on the men she dated before.
“If I think about all of my ex-boyfriends, they are all so uncomparable,” Jennifer said. “Sex? Someone explain to me what it is.”
Jennifer Lawrence has dated men in their 20s and 30s so maybe she wanted to take her chance on someone who is already in his 40s. The actress was rumored to be dating director Darren Aronofsky when they were spotted leaving a restaurant in Los Angeles back in October. The dating rumors were confirmed a few weeks after they were first seen together. The award-winning actress and the 47-year-old filmmaker were caught kissing outside a flower shop on November 3.
“They get along really well, and it’s easy right now,” the pal of Lawrence told Us Weekly. “They looked very much like a couple. He was escorting her to the door.”
The lovebirds reportedly strolled around the neighborhood of Flatiron in Manhattan and he was even pointing out buildings to her. The Black Swan director was a perfect gentleman as he hailed a cab for his girlfriend first before he grabbed one for himself after their date.
Darren Aronofsky is the former partner of Rachel Weisz and they have a 10-year-old son named Henry. He got closer to Lawrence while working on the horror movie Mother. According to Us Weekly, the Jennifer called him a “visionary” and revealed that she accepted the role even before reading the script.
During an interview with Vogue, Jennifer Lawrence revealed how difficult it was for her to find a man who would be nice to her. She also confessed dating someone in the past who made her feel insecure. It was difficult for her to fight for that validation and worth maybe that’s why they had to call it quits. Most of JLaw’s friends are already settling down and admitted that she also wanted to get married someday.
“I feel like if I find that one person who I want to spend the rest of my life with, who I want to be the father of my children, that I would absolutely not fuck it up,” she said. “But I’m also not banking on that.”
