Kristen Stewart Ends 2016 With New Girlfriend As St. Vincent, Alicia Cargile, SoKo, And Robert Pattinson Become Old News
Kristen Stewart has had a busy 2016, both socially and professionally. Not only did she release multiple movies this year, but she also changed her girlfriend more than three times, making 2016 the year that she stopped caring what the public thought about her relationships. Let’s hope that she gave some closure to St. Vincent, Alicia Cargile, SoKo, and her ex-boyfriend Robert Pattinson, who are quickly becoming old news.
The newest girlfriend of the Twilight star is Stella Maxwell, a Victoria’s Secret model and Miley Cyrus’ ex-girlfriend. Their appearance together in November quickly stopped rumors that St. Vincent and Kristen Stewart were still dating.
“Stella Maxwell was pictured spending the week in the southern city as she visited Kristen Stewart on set of her new historical film centering on accused axe murderer Lizzie Borden,” reports the Daily Mail. “The two fueled romance rumours as they spent quality time together walking the antebellum streets of the coastal town and chatting during filming breaks at the weekend.”
But a more alarming report surfaced when, a week later, the actress stepped out into public with injuries on her face.
“Kristen Stewart was spotted in Georgia with rumored new flame Stella Maxwell … as well as a few scrapes and bruises,” reports Yahoo Celebrity. “Aside from the gorgeous blonde next to her, also noticeable were some bruises and cuts on Kristen’s face. Later in the day, a photographer captured her scraped knees. Is it for a role? Did she hurt herself during a rough night of partying?”
Since the Twilight star does not use social media to speak directly to her fans, there have been no responses to the questions regarding her injuries.
Meanwhile, her ex-boyfriend Robert Pattinson is making headway in his relationship with FKA twigs, to whom he is engaged. Recently, he was seen doing some holiday shopping with her on the West Coast. Since Kristen is shooting a movie on the other side of the U.S., it looks like there won’t be any awkward run-ins.
But one thing is for sure — Stella is Kristen’s newest girlfriend!
Before the Victoria’s Secret model, the 26-year-old actress was linked to St. Vincent, with whom she appeared just days after breaking up with her girlfriend Cara Delevingne. Maybe that’s why the musician so quickly posted on Twitter that she wrote the music for Kristen Stewart’s directorial debut.
“I composed the soundtrack for Kristen Stewart’s new short film Come Swim, which is also premiering at Sundance,” she tweeted.
For the musician, who likes to keep her relationships personal, this seemed to be an out-of-character act.

But looking at Kristen’s past relationships in 2016, it is no big surprise that they came to an end. Before St. Vincent, the actress had gotten back together with her former personal assistant, Alicia Cargile, who she took to visit her father after Cannes Film Festival. This getting together came on the heels of Kristen ending things with SoKo, a French singer-actress.
This maelstrom of breaking and hooking up has marked the Cafe Society actress’ 2016. According to a recent interview, it looks like she is staying true about not going to great lengths to hide her relationships.
“When I was dating a guy I was hiding everything that I did because everything personal felt like it was immediately trivialized, so I didn’t like it,” she told Elle UK.
“But then it changed when I started dating a girl,” she added. “I was like, ‘Actually, to hide this provides the implication that I’m not down with it or I’m ashamed of it, so I had to alter how I approached being in public. It opened my life up and I’m so much happier.”
