Former Adult Star Jenna Jameson Wants To Move To Israel
The reason why you’re sending Jenna Jameson’s name trending on Twitter on Monday, Dec. 19 is because she angered followers when she asked if the term “slut-shaming” has to do with women of color.
The former adult actress also made headlines when she told an Israeli publication that she plans to move to Israel next year.
“My fiancé and I hope to move to Israel next year after the birth,” she told the Hebrew news site, Times of Israel.
Jameson and her fiance, jeweler Lior Bitton, will reside in Bitton’s home in Herzliya, a coastal city that’s 10 miles away from Tel-Aviv. Last year Jameson, who was born Catholic, announced that she was converting to Judaism and planning to shoot a reality show leading up to their nuptials in Israel. It is unclear as to when the reality show will debut on television or what it’s called. Bitton told a newspaper that he did not let his mother know about Jameson’s adult entertainment career.
“Look, I didn’t come to my mom and say, ‘I’m dating the biggest porn star in the world.’ I mean, there are porn stars, and then there’s Jenna Jameson,” Bitton said, according to The Wrap.
“At the start, I didn’t tell her who she was. It was a slow process. I let her know in bits and pieces until eventually she was able to accept it. And then it was fine.”
Bitton compared the reality show to Keeping Up With the Kardashians, also insisting that there would be nothing raunchy in the series.
“It’s a bit stressful, because I’m not used to being in front of the cameras. But I can assure you there won’t be any adult content in the show. I’m not going there,” he added.
The actress has become a pro-Israel and pro-Jewish voice on social media, tweeting that she’s a Zionist and she cooks Shabbat meals for her fiance. She last tweeted that she had a crush on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and drew an angry response from former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke, who claimed that “Jews dominated porn.” In an interview with The Times of Israel, Jameson said that it was her “first welcome to being Jewish and hated for it.”
Jameson first entered the adult industry in 1993 and quickly worked her way to the top. She has starred in over 200 films. She even launched her own adult company, ClubJenna, in 2000. It was estimated by Forbes that Jameson earned $30 million alone from the company in 2005. She officially retired from the adult industry in 2008 but has surfaced in adult video chats on MyFreeCams.
The outspoken conservative previously revealed that she was supporting Marco Rubio in the Republican primaries. Jameson took to Twitter to share her support, which caused some friction on her Twitter account, reports ijr.com. Jameson has also been critical of President Barack Obama. She was a supporter of Mitt Romney’s 2012 campaign on Twitter, and has often attacked Obama’s policies and engaged in political debates, which caused more friction rather than debate.
She started out as a liberal Democrat, reports HollowVerse. Jameson even supported the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) after she learned about KFC’s chicken-raising practices. She even appeared nude in a PETA ad campaign. Jameson previously endorsed Hillary Clinton back in 2008 and liked the thought of having a woman in the oval office, which would have been a good thing for the adult entertainment industry.
“The Clinton administration was the best years for the adult industry and I wish that Clinton would run again. I would love to have him back in office. I would love to have Al Gore in office. When Republicans are in office, the problem is, a lot of times they try to put their crosshairs on the adult industry, to make a point.”
Jameson has since stuck up for president-elect Donald Trump amid his sexual assault scandal, stating that he’s also been “kind and respectful” to her, according to the Daily Caller. Her statements followed after the leaked audio from Access Hollywood from 2005 of Trump and Billy Bush making lewd and inappropriate comments about women.
“Absolutely untrue,” Jameson tweeted.
“I know M[r]. Trump, and he’s been anything but kind and respectful to me. I believe the media exploits stories … the presidency needs to be taken out of the hands of the current corruption. Powerful debate… I think it’s sad the media will now fixate on something that has no real bearing on our real issues at hand.”
Jameson then defended Trump’s lack of foreign policy versus Hillary Clinton’s.
“No, Hillary’s blatant disregard for ethics and her inability to be truthful to the American people scares me when it comes to foreign policy,” she added.
