This past summer, three couples left Season 3 of Bachelor in Paradise engaged, but it looks as if only one happy couple remains. There have been rumors swirling about a Josh Murray and Amanda Stanton split for a while now, and based on social media activity, it certainly appears that the two have broken things off for good. Carly Waddell and Evan Bass seem to be doing better than ever, luckily for fans, but Grant Kemp and Lace Morris recently split as well. What’s the latest on these BIP relationships?
Josh Murray and Amanda Stanton may have looked like the picture-perfect couple in many of their social media posts over the past few months, but the Bachelor in Paradise pair had faced rumors indicating otherwise from almost the moment news emerged that they were together and engaged. Rumors suggested there had been some temporary splits between the two along the way, but Reality Steve recently revealed that Josh and Amanda had broken up again. This time, it seemed like it would be for good.
While Murray and Stanton have not yet put out any kind of confirmation regarding the end of their engagement, Reality Steve shared again via Twitter that it was a done deal, and there are plenty of signs there. Amanda was still wearing her ring in a recent Snapchat post, but she seems to have gotten her daughters Kinsley and Charlie a new dog, and she was not shy in posting a Snapchat video a few days ago that showed her having a wine party with friends. Her Twitter header still shows her with Josh and the girls, but she seems to be making it pretty clear otherwise that she’s single again.
As for Josh, he has been posting quite a few social media posts showing that he and his dog, Sabel, have been on the road back to Atlanta, where he is originally from. After the latest reports about the broken engagement emerged, Reality Steve said that Murray was living in a hotel near Stanton’s place. Now, however, it looks like he’s officially back in Atlanta. He has changed his profile photos to signal that he is single again, unpinning a tweet about his “new family” and deleting telltale references to his now-dissolved relationship. He also did spend a bit of time with Amanda and the girls a few nights ago, holding Kinsley , and tweeted about how he would always love that precious angel.
When will Josh and Amanda officially confirm that their engagement is over? It sounds as if Bachelor in Paradise fans may have to wait until ABC’s The Bachelor: Countdown to Nick special that airs on Sunday, January 1. The press release for the special notes that Chris Harrison will be sharing not only tidbits on Nick Viall’s upcoming season , but he’ll share updates on many other franchise couples, including the Paradise folks. It may well be that ABC wants to keep a lid on any official revelations about the broken engagement until that special airs.
Grant Kemp and Lace Morris broke up around Thanksgiving, and that leaves only one Bachelor in Paradise engagement intact from Season 3. Luckily, from the looks of things, Evan Bass and Carly Waddell are still doing quite well. At the moment, they are in the Bahamas with Jade Roper Tolbert, Tanner Tolbert, Jared Haibon, Ashley Iaconetti, and Ashley’s sister Lauren.
Carly and Evan recently teased that they may have chosen a wedding date, but they have yet to reveal specifics. Could the big news come during Bass and Waddell’s update on the upcoming Bachelor special? This Paradise pair has been doing well together in Nashville since getting engaged, from the sounds of things, and they have not endured rumors and drama like their Season 3 co-stars. Of course, fans can never know how things are going in a relationship based purely on social media posts, but it does seem that Carly and Evan have become the real deal.
Are you surprised to hear that Josh Murray and Amanda Stanton are seemingly over for good? Do you think that Carly Waddell and Evan Bass will end up tying the knot? Official updates from both Bachelor in Paradise couples are coming soon, and fans are anxious to know for certain where things stand for both pairs.
