Drake Crushing On Jennifer Lopez: Potential Romance After Rihanna Split? [Rumor]

Drake is reportedly crushing on Jennifer Lopez, having enjoyed the singer’s “All I Have” Vegas residency show last week.

The rapper, who is said to have been friends with Jennifer for some time, couldn’t contain his own emotions, sending multiple selfies to his millions of social media fans, where Drake openly gushed about his love for Lopez.

Jennifer, who actually performs “Hotline Bling” during one of her sets at her Vegas residency, returned the love by posting her own set of selfies with Drake, who she called one of her favorite people in the world.

Hollywood Life is now alleging that Drake could potentially try his luck by making moves toward Jennifer Lopez — after all, the mother of two has been single for two months and seems more than ready to mingle.

“He’s obsessed with her. This is crazy, he posted pix of her on his social media at her Las Vegas concert — he never does that,” the source shared, making it known that even when Drake is in a relationship with someone, he never publicizes it the way he has with Jennifer.

And while he’s not dating the 47-year-old, it’s very rare for Drake to be posting endless photos of a particular someone unless they have a special connection with him.

“You should see his camera roll. He felt like Kim Kardashian because he must have taken about 3 dozen selfies with J.Lo. He couldn’t stop complimenting her, hugging her and you already know he was checking out her banging body from head-to-toe.”

As previously revealed, Jennifer Lopez has remained single ever since she parted ways with on-again, off-again boyfriend Casper Smart. While initial reports claimed that the singer may end up getting back with her ex-husband Marc Anthony, sources close to the situation say there’s absolutely no truth to those allegations whatsoever.

Fans shouldn’t be surprised to hear that Drake and Jennifer are dating, though. The twosome have never collaborated on a song together, but with their friendship continuing to grow, there’s a chance that the duo will record a track, just in time for the line-up of new music both artists are gearing up to release.

With Drake already having confirmed that he’s in the works to release a studio album sometime in 2017, Jennifer Lopez also hasn’t been shy when it comes to announcing plans for another record of her own, having kept herself so busy in different business ventures since her last effort, titled AKA.

Despite her busy schedule, Jennifer did find the time to sign a new record deal with Epic, Billboard confirms. Sources believe that a new album could be out sometime in 2017, but considering all the things Lopez has going on for herself right now, it’s all about time management for her.

Nonetheless, fans shouldn’t be surprised to hear a collaboration from Drake and Jennifer on a future record. The rapper has proven himself to be quite a fan of J. Lo’s work, and since Drake is also said to be working with the likes of Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj for his forthcoming album, Lopez would definitely be a great addition to that list.

News of Drake’s supposed crush on the mother of two comes just two months after the rapper decided to end his relationship with Rihanna.

The twosome had dated for six months and even took their romance to the Video Music Awards, where Drake gushed about how in love he was with the “Umbrella” singer, but due to their hectic schedules, insiders stress that the romance was no longer working out for the two.
