Tarek El Moussa Allegedly Slept With Nanny After Split From Christina El Moussa, ‘Flip Or Flop’ Star Did Not Cheat
Tarek El Moussa has become a household name in just under a week. He stars with this estranged wife, Christina, on the HGTV show Flip or Flop. The couple announced their separation to their fans earlier this week when an incident from May finally went public. El Moussa suffered somewhat of a mental breakdown when arguing with his wife and the police were called in for a possible suicide situation in Orange County. While nothing actually happened between Tarek and Christina back in May, they decided their marriage was no longer working and decided on a separation.
Since the news was announced, plenty of details have surfaced about Tarek El Moussa. His battle with cancer was public and the couple fought hard together. Just last November it was revealed that he was in remission, something El Moussa had been counting on. While the good news has been spreading, there have also been some rumors coming to the surface. According to the Hollywood Gossip, Tarek El Moussa allegedly had a one-month affair with his children’s nanny. It reportedly happened in October and lasted only for a month. El Moussa was split from Christina at the time and once he realized he had feelings for the nanny, he fired her.
HGTV is standing by Tarek and Christina El Moussa and keeping them on the air. There are several new Flip or Flop episodes scheduled to air and talk of another season is already on the table. Some critics have accused the couple of leaking the story of the fight in May to hike up the ratings for their show. There have also been accusations that the two staged the fight in order to bump up the viewership and ensure they remain relevant following El Moussa’s cancer episode. It is unlikely that either scenario is true but with the way things happen these days, it isn’t out of the realm of possibilities. It appears Tarek and Christina are committed in remaining professional business partners despite their marriage crumbling around them. They want to continue to do Flip or Flop and work on growing their brand for the future.
Christina El Moussa also reportedly dated someone who was close to the family like Tarek El Moussa did. She was rumored to be dating the family contractor, the guy who also happened to witness the epic breakdown Tarek had back in May. Reports are claiming Christina is still dating this guy while Tarek is single. The couple did issue a statement regarding their personal lives and stated they didn’t want to comment on who they were dating because nothing was considered serious at this point. The two are headed for divorce and it looks like nothing is going to be able to salvage their marriage, not even their two children.
Sleeping with the nanny is not what lead to the demise of Tarek El Moussa’s marriage, though many are claiming it is. He has not come out and confirmed that he had a relationship with their former nanny, but it is likely it happened. All of the information alludes to the October fling being real. The crumbling of the El Moussa marriage is sad for fans who loved watching them on Flip or Flop, knowing they were really who they were on and off the small screen. Whatever happened with Tarek and the nanny was not done to hurt Christina and the couple was already headed down divorce lane at that point. Currently, Tarek El Moussa seems to be remaining single for the most part, counting on things getting more serious with someone else in the future.
