Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively’s kids’ names have taken a long time to be revealed. The couple waited months before sharing that their first daughter was named James. Reynolds and Lively have yet to share what they chose to name their second daughter, who was born in September.

Ryan Reynolds’ kids made their public debut on Thursday when their dad was honored with a star on Hollywood’s Walk Of Fame, according to People Magazine. The famous couple decided to include their two daughters in the ceremony, posing for photos as a family for the very first time.

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively’s kids’ names have been somewhat top secret. The two decided that they wanted to keep their children out of the spotlight and they didn’t want to share those personal things with the world — at least not right away.

When James was born two years ago, Ryan Reynolds was asked several times what he and Blake decided on for a name. He made light of every interview, joked around, and never gave in to the pressure. It took a while for the world to find out that Ryan and Blake named their first daughter James. What took even longer was the first real photo of the child. The new parents did a fine job at keeping that baby’s face away from the paparazzi’s ever-prying lenses. Although there had been a couple of candid shots taken while Blake Lively was filming The Shallows, there was never a time that the duo put their little one in the spotlight — until now.

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively’s kids’ names are likely both very unique, which makes it pretty hard to guess what they are. No one ever expected “James” to be the chosen moniker for the couple’s first child. Many believe that the couple’s 3-month-old also has a rather uncommon girl’s name.

And while Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively enjoyed spending Thursday as a family in front of the watching world, the two have still decided to keep their second daughter’s name private. As for why Ryan and Blake decided to have the girls present during the ceremony, Ryan said that he would have regretted it if he didn’t share the special moment with his family.

“This is one of the rare occasions when we thought we got to bring the whole clan. I’d regret it in 20 years if I didn’t,” Reynolds, 40, told Extra. At one point during the ceremony, James actually stole the mic from her dad. His response was pretty classic Ryan Reynolds.

“It’s not the first time she’s snatched a mic out of someone’s hands. When she’s 20, she can happily do whatever she wants. Thirty — I’m gonna up that to 30,” he said, perhaps alluding to his 2-year-old wanting to follow in her parents’ footsteps.

During the ceremony, Ryan Reynolds’ kids were very well behaved. Ryan held James and Blake held the couple’s newborn for some time and then they switched, making sure Ryan enjoyed special moments with both of his girls — and his wife, of course!

His words to Lively proved that true love really does exist.

“You are the best thing, the best thing that has ever happened to me — second only to this star. …You make everything better, absolutely everything in my life better. You’ve made me the father of my dreams when I thought I only had fun uncle potential,” he said.

It’s only a matter of time before Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively’s kids’ names are revealed. Any guesses on what they may have named their newest addition?
