Gigi Hadid’s honor upheld by a refreshingly chivalrous reply, Z continued the interview, setting a good example for any young man who might be asked such a question.
Zayn Malik, who was there for an interview about his duet with Taylor Swift for Fifty Shades Darker, avoided some rather personal questions about Miss Hadid, with his typical nervous laugh. The shy former One Direction member kept any statements about Gigi Hadid very clean.

Gigi Hadid was instrumental in setting up the duet between Taylor Swift and Zayn Malik, according to Daily Mail. That is logical since Taylor Swift is one of Gigi Hadid’s closest friends and Zayn Malik is her boyfriend. Taylor Swift also dated One Direction’s Harry Styles, so Z obviously knows Taylor well.
Zayn Malik politely made any rough talk about Gigi Hadid off limits but was quite candid about other issues in his life. When asked about songwriting, One Direction’s only former member really opened up, according to the Daily Mail.
“It normally comes to me in lyrics, and I’ll develop a melody afterward. There is not one writer in particular (that I’m influenced by), but I am into a lot of older music. A lot of my dad’s old 90s R&B. I feel like writing anything down is a little bit of a therapy process. It’s alleviating what’s on your mind.”

His stage fright can be especially overwhelming at times. When examining photos of Malik through time, one can tell when he’s been on the road in photos. Z gets frighteningly thin.
Zayn Malik, formerly of One Direction, is a master of lyrics, and a great writer in both music and print. His book Zayn is absolutely fascinating, but in interviews, he is often misunderstood. Headlines insist that Z is always bashing, slamming and throwing shade. It makes no sense.
