Chris Brown may have been teasing the release of his newest single, “Party,” featuring Usher and Gucci Mane all week, but now it appears that Breezy had an even bigger surprise in store for fans last night after unexpectedly dropping the music video for his latest single just minutes after its midnight release on Friday.
Earlier this week, Chris Brown seemingly shut down rumors of a 2016 release for his eighth studio album, Lost & Found: Heartbreak on a Full Moon , after taking to the Shade Room to reveal that he has new music in store for fans coming in the new year.
On Tuesday, Brown took to Instagram to share a video of himself dancing with his Grammy Award alongside a caption that reads, “Just me and my b**** for now, Ima get more b****** next year!”
The video prompted the Shade Room to repost Breezy’s video before asking fans whether or not they believe Chris Brown will release new music in the near future.
“I GOT HEAT COMING!!” Chris Brown began in his reply to the gossip blog, as captured by a fan on Instagram. “Tell ya favorite artists to be ready. I make hit records in my sleep! Sleep on me…Just make sure u ready to give me my props when I do the damn thing real soon! No room for hate or opinions. Only room for money!”

The next day, Chris Brown took to his various social media sites to announce the impending release of his latest single, “Party,” alongside the cover art for his newest collaboration with Usher and Gucci Mane.
“AND SO IT BEGINS!!! FRIDAY!!! NOT PLAYING ANY GAMES,” Chris Brown captioned his Instagram post on Wednesday.
As promised, Chris Brown unveiled the Apple Music download link to “Party” at midnight on December 16 before going on to surprise fans with the immediate release of the official music video for his newest collaboration with Usher and Gucci Mane. Brown took to Instagram early Friday morning to confirm the music video’s surprise arrival before sharing a brief clip of the energetic video on his social media page.
The music video for Breezy’s “Party” begins with Chris Brown attempting to gain access to an exclusive underground nightclub in which he’ll have to show off his impressive dance skills in order to gain entry. After flashing his diamond-encrusted gold watch to a group of club goers outside the venue, Chris Brown breaks out into an intensely choreographed dance routine as lyrics from his track “Kriss Kross” ring out with, “VVS protect all in my wrist watch / Got it jump, jumpin’ like I’m Kriss Kross / She gon’ bring her girls, let ’em Kriss Kross / Drippin’ water, I forgot to turn my wrist off.”

After Brown’s impressive dance skills allow him to gain entry into the underground club, the “Back to Sleep” singer then introduces the choreography for “Party” while singing the lyrics to the track’s hook, “Pulled up on your b****, tell your man I’m sorry / Hundred on my wrist, jumpin’ out the ‘rari / Ooh, when she hit the splits, she know how to party / When I’m with my clique, we know how to party.”
Later, Chris is joined by Usher and Gucci Mane, who promises to party like he “just got out of jail,” before concluding the five-minute, self-directed music video with a group dance sequence.
