Miranda Lambert And Anderson East Allegedly Split! He Reportedly Thinks She Still Loves Blake Shelton
Miranda Lambert’s romance with Anderson East may have fizzled out. Lambert has been dating East for the better part of a year and reports indicate she still hasn’t gotten over Blake Shelton. Did Lambert break things off with East because of Shelton?
Hollywood Life reports that Lambert’s unresolved feelings for Shelton caused problems in her relationship with East. Things got so bad that East was forced to part ways with Lambert because she couldn’t stop thinking about Shelton.
“[Anderson East] decided to leave Miranda [Lambert] because he feels that she’s never really gotten over Blake [Shelton] and he’s fed up,” a source revealed. “She couldn’t feel more alone and miserable.”
Lambert started dating East earlier this year a few months after splitting with Shelton. Their relationship heated up this summer and rumors hinted that a wedding was in the works. Unfortunately, it now sounds like things took a turn for the worse for Lambert.
“[Anderson] began to feel that Miranda was still hung up on Blake,” the insider added. “He got angry and called her out on it. Unfortunately, I get the feeling Miranda will always be obsessed with Blake, to the point of it wreaking havoc on any other relationship.”
Of course, Shelton’s romance with Gwen Stefani didn’t help the situation. In fact, the country star’s relationship with Stefani made headlines all year and Lambert couldn’t escape it. Once Lambert started checking Shelton and Stefani’s social media profiles to keep up to date with their lives, East felt like it was a “slap in the face.”
That being said, Rare is reporting that Lambert and East have been spending a lot of time together following the release of her new album, The Weight Of These Wings. On the day of the release, Lambert shared a photo of her and East on the couch waiting for the album to drop.
“Turn up the volume, Tease it up. Jack it up to Jesus! Album release week. LA press week,” she wrote alongside the image.
According to Taste of Country, East helped Miranda Lambert on several songs, including singing backup on the track, “Pushin’ Time.” While East only provided harmonies for the song, his voice matches Lambert’s during the steamy chorus.
“I didn’t plan on falling fast / I didn’t know I could be kissed like that / Now I’m trading miles for minutes / This bed’s too big without you in it,” the pair sings.
Apart from the album, Inquisitr is reporting that Lambert and East are planning on exchanging vows before Shelton ties the knot with Stefani. “If it was up to Anderson he would marry Miranda today!” a source explained. “The couple’s friends and family think it’s just a matter of time before he pops the question.”
Despite the reports of a split, East has proven that he is willing to make Lambert feel special. In fact, he recently made her feel like a princess by showering her with presents.
“Anderson is a really sweet, sentimental guy,” the insider continued. “Even when it’s not her birthday he spoils her in his way. He tells Miranda all the time how pretty and amazing she is and how he is lucky to have her as his lady.”
For Shelton and Stefani, their romance is hotter than ever. Things are going so well, in fact, that fans are expecting a wedding announcement at any moment. If Lambert wants to beat them to punch, she’ll have to move fast with East.
Unfortunately, Lambert and East have remained fairly quiet about their romance. Until more information is revealed, there’s no telling what is really happening behind the scenes.
