Chad Kroeger Responds To Avril Lavigne Halloween Costume
Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley showed that he was completely over his ex-wife, Avril Lavigne, by dressing up as the rocker for Halloween.
According to MTV, Whibley dressed up as Lavigne for Halloween and his girlfriend, Ari Cooper, dressed up as the singer’s fiance, Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger.
Lavigne has clearly moved on from Whibley, as evident by her recent engagement to Kroeger, but Whibley seems a little stuck in the past.

Whibley may have started the joke but it was Kroeger who got the last laugh.
The Nickelback frontman took to Twitter, writing:
“Hey Deryck loved the costumes! we were going to dress up as you guys this year but all the parties had celebrity themes haha! -CK”
The Halloween costumes and Kroeger’s zinger may seem like the beginning of a D-list celebrity feud but Kroeger’s tweet was clearly meant in jest. The Nickelback singer followed his insult with an invite to some couple’s bowling.
“You owe us a couples bowling grudge match see you when I get back from Russia! -CK”
