Gwen Stefani’s Sons Look Like Mini Blake Sheltons On Cozy Weekend Getaway
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton spent the weekend together in the mountains. The pair took Stefani’s three boys, Kingston, 10, Zuma, eight, and Apollo, two, to Lake Arrowhead, California and couldn’t have looked happier.
A source told People that the couple checked in at a resort in Lake Arrowhead, which is approximately two hours away from Los Angeles. The short getaway occurred days before the season finale of The Voice.
“Gwen has visited Lake Arrowhead for years. This weekend, she had a fun getaway with Blake and her boys,” the source revealed.
Stefani and Shelton walked around a local village on Saturday. Fans spotted them going into a few shops and assumed they were shopping for the holidays. As usual, Shelton rocked a camo jacket and baseball cap while the “No Doubt” alum donned a gold coat, jeans, and cap.
According to Country Fan Cast, the entire family wore matching attire and Stefani’s boys looked like mini Blake Shelton’s.
“Gwen and Blake looked very happy. As always around Blake, Gwen was all smiles,” the insider continued. “They had dinner at the resort and seemed to enjoy a quiet night with Gwen’s boys. They all looked like they had a fun weekend.”
The duo has been dating for a little over a year, having started their romance while working on The Voice two seasons ago. At the time, Shelton and Stefani were coming off divorces and found comfort in each other’s heartbreak. Shelton parted ways from Miranda Lambert and Stefani filed for divorce from Gavin Rossdale.
“I’m so blessed,” Stefani shared back in October, adding that fans have really supported their romance. “We feel it. I was saying yesterday to somebody, I really feel the love, you know what I mean? It’s hard to put into words, but it’s a really cool thing to have that.”
Last month, Shelton joined Gwen Stefani and the boys for a Thanksgiving dinner. Even Shelton’s mother and Stefani’s dad got in on the action and joined the family for the festivities.
For Shelton, the latest getaway comes at a busy time for the country crooner. According to the Tennessean, the only member to make the finale from Team Blake on The Voice is Sundance Head, and Shelton believed the whole time that he had a shot at winning it all.
Head managed to top the iTunes Top 10 chart twice this season. He was the first to break the list this season and sold over 28,000 downloads of his rendition of “Me and Jesus.” Given the promising numbers, Shelton things Head has the upper hand going into the results show Tuesday night.
“We literally don’t know what’s going on other than that iTunes chart,” the country star revealed. “Since that’s all I have to go by, I’m feeling really good. We were laughing, saying, ‘I bet The Weeknd is somewhere wondering who the hell Sundance Head is? He’s had a No. 1 for three or four days.'”
For Shelton, Head’s unique style and approach was one reason fans fell in love with his music. “He sings a lot of female songs in the female key, you know,” he admitted. “But he’s this big burly guy who looks like somebody from Duck Dynasty doing it.”
That being said, Hollywood Life is reporting that Justin Bieber threw his support to Billy Gilman. Just prior to Monday night’s episode, Bieber told fans on social media that he was rooting for Gilman to win it all.
“Hey Blake…sorry. #teamadam. Good luck Billy,” Bieber wrote.
Unfortunately for the Biebs, Sundance Head and Team Blake took the Season 11 crown.
