Adam Levine and Blake Shelton have been the only mainstay coaches on the past 11 seasons of The Voice and their brotherly banter has become a staple of the NBC singing show, but sources are now claiming that Adam and Blake’s infamous bromance many now have turned sour after the cameras stopped rolling on the most recent finale.
According to reports, Adam and Blake’s friendly competition may now have taken a potentially nasty turn, as insiders close to the show are claiming that Levine allegedly isn’t the biggest fan of Shelton’s gloating after the country star’s act Sundance Head won the most recent season of the singing series, despite the two hugging on camera following Blake’s win.
That’s according to Radar Online , who claimed that Blake and Adam once again going head to head in The Voice finale supposedly caused “serious animosity” between the two longtime coaches backstage at the finale, culminating in Levine allegedly refusing to congratulate Shelton on Team Blake’s win behind the scenes.
“Adam did not congratulate Blake, but Blake was apparently trying to rub his win in everyone’s face,” a The Voice insider alleged of Levine’s supposed feud with the “Honey Bee” singer backstage at the show, alleging that Shelton “was telling everyone that his ‘country boy,’ won and it was just extremely obnoxious” after Sundance won.
“Adam said that Blake had totally rigged it, and Blake told Adam that he was just a sore loser after the show wrapped,” continued the site’s source amid the feud claims. “Adam does not like losing – especially to Blake.”
But while neither Levine nor Shelton has commented on the accusations of feud drama behind the scenes of The Voice , it sounds like if Radar Online’s reports of a feud over winning are true, the claims of “animosity” have been a long time coming for Levine and Shelton.
According to the site’s source, Blake and Adam “are in constant competition with each other and always have been.”
The Voice and its coaches are so far staying tight-lipped amid the feud rumors, though this isn’t the first time it’s been alleged that Shelton and Levine’s competitiveness may have been getting in the middle of their famous friendship.
Radar Online claimed back in September that Blake Shelton and Adam Levine, who are the only coaches to appear on all 11 seasons of The Voice , were getting seriously competitive while filming the recently wrapped season of the show, which allegedly caused tension for Levine and his fellow coaches on the set.
“Adam and Blake are still trying to one-up each other at any chance they get,” a source claimed earlier this year, alleging that the supposed drama between Shelton and Levine was leaving fellow coach Miley Cyrus in the middle amid accusations that she’s been caught up in her own feud with the two.
The latest round of drama reports come after months of claims that Levine and Shelton supposedly haven’t been getting along with Miley on The Voice set ever since the former Hannah Montana star joined the coaching panel earlier this year.
Us Weekly first alluded to a feud between Miley and Adam, claiming that Levine and Cyrus “totally butted heads” as soon as Miley joined the show earlier this year because the musicians are just “too similar.”

“[Miley and Adam] both have short attention spans,” the source continued of the alleged The Voice feud between Levine and Cyrus earlier this year. “Adam would get agitated when Miley would interrupt him, and she enjoyed getting under his skin.”
In Touch Weekly also reported on the supposed feud , claiming that Shelton had waded into Miley’s drama with Adam and reported the veteran coaches had allegedly left Cyrus “in tears” on the set on at least one occasions.
A The Voice insider revealed that Miley allegedly “feels like it’s a boys’ club” on The Voice set and feels “that she’s all alone” amid reports she hadn’t been getting along with Shelton or the Maroon 5 frontman. “Miley feels like his favorite target,” the insider added of Cyrus and Levine’s alleged feud.
But despite reports of a feud between the coaches, both Blake Shelton and Adam Levine are expected to return to The Voice for Season 12, while Miley Cyrus is expected to be back for Season 13 in Fall 2017 despite reports she could be heading to The Voice Australia next year.
