Miley Cyrus Quitting ‘The Voice’ And Moving To Australia Amid Alleged Adam Levine Feud? [Rumors]
Miley Cyrus has been confirmed to return to The Voice for Season 13, but rumors are now swirling that that star could instead be heading to Australia amid reports of an alleged feud with co-coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.
According to reports, despite NBC announcing earlier this year that Cyrus would in fact be back as a coach on the NBC singing show this coming Fall, rumors are now swirling that Miley could potentially be quitting Season 13 of The Voice before it even begins in order to take her coaching gig down under to appear on The Voice Australia.
Australian news source News.com.au is claiming that Miley’s name is supposedly already in the mix as a potential coach for the upcoming sixth season of the singing show, which could mean Cyrus may be backing out of her previously announced gig on Season 13 of the U.S. version of the series.
Citing “industry chatter” surrounding The Voice Australia, the site claimed that producers “are seeking a big international name” to sit alongside previously announced coaches Seal, Boy George and Delta Goodrem and alleged that Cyrus “is top of the list” right now to be announced as the fourth coach.
Though the official airdate for the upcoming season of the Australian version of the show is yet to be announced, previously seasons have hit screens around May, which could mean if Cyrus does head to Australia, her involvement with Season 13 of the U.S. show could be in jeopardy as she’s likely to potentially face scheduling conflicts with both shows.
Miley has not commented on rumors she’s planning on heading to Australia or reports she could quit her gig on The Voice U.S. and producers of the show have also stayed tight lipped regarding the Cyrus speculation, though a spokesperson for the show reportedly did not dispel the reports, simply telling News.com.au that fans should “stay tuned for further announcements” regarding the coaching panel.
Notably, Cyrus’s rumored fiancé Liam Hemsworth is a native of Australia and the speculation that Miley could potentially be heading to The Voice Australia comes shortly after Hollywood Life claimed that Miley and Liam allegedly had plans to move to the country to start a family.
“Liam is [convincing] Miley to move permanently to Byron Bay,” a source alleged to the site back in June of where the couple could live, claiming that Miley “loves the idea” of making a permanent move to Australia with Hemsworth.
“After they get hitched down there, Miley and Liam plan on buying a huge place next to Chris [Hemsworth] in Byron Bay,” continued the Cyrus insider, adding that both Cyrus and Hemsworth allegedly plan on “living a peaceful life away from the eyes of Hollywood” together in Australia.
But while Cyrus and The Voice Australia have both stayed mum as rumors swirl that Miley could potentially quit The Voice U.S., despite already being announced as a coach for Season 13, some fans are speculating that Miley potentially heading down under could instead spell good news for veteran coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton amid allegations they’re both caught in a feud with the star.
Rumors claiming Miley could be heading to Australia come amid reports claiming that Cyrus has allegedly been caught in a feud with her co-coaches during her single season on The Voice U.S., reportedly butting heads with both Levine and Shelton to the point that neither wanted to return to Season 13 because of Miley’s involvement.
Radar Online recently alleged that Adam supposedly “does not really want to return if they bring Miley back,” and could potentially quit the show with Blake rather than join the coaching panel with Miley once again.
“Both Adam and Blake feel that they have run their course as judges,” continued the source amid the quitting accusations, alleging that both Levine and Shelton were considering quitting the show next year alongside Gwen Stefani, who will be taking over Cyrus’s seat for Season 12.
The feud claims came also shortly after OK! Magazine reported that there was supposedly drama between the coaches, and alleged earlier this year that Miley had “had enough” of being by Adam and Blake’s side and suggesting their alleged feud could have been a factor in the show’s decision to replace Cyrus with Gwen Stefani for Season 12.
“Things are so bad. She’s had enough,” a source claimed of Cyrus at the time, claiming that Miley allegedly “feels like it’s a boys’ club and that she’s all alone” and has supposedly been “dying to get out of there” amid the feud accusations.
Do you think Miley Cyrus will be heading to The Voice Australia amid reports of an alleged feud with Adam Levine and Blake Shelton?
