Is Gwen Stefani Really Planning A Showdown With Miranda Lambert Over Her Man Blake Shelton?
Gwen Stefani is doing everything she can to get back at Miranda Lambert. Following the release of Lambert’s The Weight of These Wings, the No Doubt alum is pulling out all the stops to get revenge. Will Stefani and Lambert have a final showdown before it’s all over?
An inside source told In Touch Weekly that Stefani is very unhappy with Lambert’s new album. Not only is the album outperforming Stefani’s newest release, but she also took it as a “direct shot at her and Blake Shelton.”
In order to get back at Lambert, Stefani is preparing to release new songs about Shelton’s former wife.
“Gwen is ready to debut some very personal songs about Miranda being the constant third wheel in her life,” the insider explained. “She’s also written several songs in which she calls Miranda out for just giving Blake up so easily.”
Stefani wants to hit back before she exchanges vows with the country crooner. She also wants the fight to go down before Lambert ties the knot with her new boyfriend, Anderson East.
“All of this is leading to an inevitable showdown between Gwen and Miranda,” the insider added. “The gloves are off.”
According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Stefani is jealous over Lambert’s success and wants her to stop singing about the divorce. Lambert’s new album has been topping charts for several weeks, which has only made the situation worse.
While Stefani would like nothing more than to see Lambert stop singing, she can’t stop talking about her divorce from Gavin Rossdale. In fact, Rossdale got so tired of the divorce talk that he recently asked her to stop.
“I’ve got to move on. Everyone has got to move on. It’s, like, enough already. I have an incredible life with [my kids] and that’s what matters. You can’t keep up with all the vitriol. Just don’t get into all that,” Rossdale said.
Of course, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have used the extra attention to their benefit. According to People, Shelton recently discussed his romance with Stefani during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
“I love talking Gwen,” Shelton told the host. “Are you kidding me?”
Shelton admitted that he never thought he’d get with Stefani, especially considering her career with No Doubt.
“It’s been just an eye opener to be with someone like her,” the country star shared. “Believe it or not, I mean, you think Gwen Stefani and No Doubt and she is literally maybe the most normal person that I’ve ever met in my life.”
Shelton continued, “It’s been good for me to be with somebody that’s so grounded and just a good human being with a great heart.”
Shelton ended the interview by gushing about what he really thinks about Stefani.
“She’s hot,” he stated. “Have you seen her? I mean look at that.”
“Oh, I didn’t notice,” DeGeneres replied. “I just realized! Now that I look at her, she is attractive! I didn’t know.”
Shelton and Stefani first started dating last year while they worked together on The Voice. They were both coming off divorces, and their romance hasn’t slowed down since.
“I’m so blessed,” Stefani explained a few months ago. “We feel it. I was saying yesterday to somebody, I really feel the love, you know what I mean? It’s hard to put into words, but it’s a really cool thing to have that.”
Stefani has not officially commented on the rumors surrounding her beef with Lambert, who refuses to give interviews in the wake of her new album. Instead, Lambert hopes that the music will speak for itself, which might only make things worse for Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton.
