‘The Walking Dead’ Spoilers: Who Dies In The Mid-Season Finale?
The Walking Dead spoilers reveal that the Season 7 mid-season finale may bring death. The episode, which airs Sunday night on AMC, is expected to be the biggest and most dramatic episode since the season premiere.
According to Us Weekly, there are five characters who are most likely to die in The Walking Dead mid-season finale on Sunday night. One rumor reveals that the character of Carl, played by Chandler Riggs, could be the next character to bite the dust. Riggs has already confirmed that he’s headed off to college, but many believe that he’ll at least attempt to pull double duty as a college student and actor on the popular series. Although nothing has been confirmed, Chandler Riggs’ parents have dropped hints that their son could be done on the show. If Carl Grimes were to die, it would certainly be one of the most shocking moments in the show’s history.
One character who Walking Dead fans are expecting to be killed in the mid-season finale is Olivia. The character has been getting more screen time as of late, and has also captured the attention of Negan, who has made multiple comments about her weight. Olivia, who is in charge of keeping stock of the pantry, had an intense conflict with Negan in the previous episode when he suggested they get intimate and she slapped him across the face. Wetpaint reports that Olivia will be killed by Negan as a punishment for something Rosita will do. Rosita will allegedly shoot a bullet at Negan, but miss and hit his beloved bat, Lucille. As many viewers know, Negan likes to punish others as a way to hurt the one who wronged him, and Olivia will probably be the villain’s next victim.
Daryl is also another candidate to be killed off The Walking Dead in Sunday’s episode. Although fans don’t want to believe that the fan favorite character will ever be killed off the show, the motto has always been that no one is safe from death in the series. As fans know, Daryl is getting ready to escape from The Sanctuary, and if he heads back to Alexandria, he’ll most likely meet up with Negan. Negan has been trying to groom Daryl to be a Savior, but if he continues to resist, then there could be some big trouble in Daryl’s future.
One character who Walking Dead fans haven’t seen much of is Eric. Eric is the husband of Aaron, played by actor Ross Marquand. While Aaron has become a central part of the group and developed strong friendships with Rick, Maggie, and Daryl, his husband, Eric, has been M.I.A. for the most part. Eric’s death wouldn’t be shocking, or even leave much of an impact on fans, but the toll that it would take on Aaron could be an interesting new storyline to explore in the upcoming episodes.
Meanwhile, the most likely candidate to be killed off during the mid-season finale is Spencer. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Spencer is the person who dies next in The Walking Dead comic book series. Spencer decides that he wants to overthrow Rick and become the new leader of Alexandria. However, Spencer goes to Negan for help, which turns out to be a fatal mistake. When Spencer asks Negan to kill Rick and let him rise to power, Negan is appalled by Spencer’s lack of guts and proceeds to slice open his stomach.
It seems that one of these characters will have seen their last day when The Walking Dead Season 7 mid-season finale airs on Sunday night. Although Spencer, Olivia, or Eric’s death wouldn’t be shocking, if Carl or Daryl were to die, fans would be left devastated.
