Goblin’s Gong Yoo has gotten a lot of new fans lately mostly due to his winning performance in tvN’s new drama series. Although it premiered just a couple of weeks ago, it has already broken records on Nielsen Korea’s TV popularity index beating another popular drama The Legend of the Blue Sea , starring Lee Min Ho.
But it looks like Gong Yoo isn’t just the king of Korean drama right now. He’s also the king of being awesome to fans.
As Koreaboo notes, Gong Yoo has become known for being very relatable to fans and really making them feel special. At a recent screening of his new movie, The Age of Shadows , Gong Yoo singled out one fan who was filming him by winking at her. According to Koreaboo , the “subtle” wink was noticed by the rest of the audience who all started winking at him.
It’s a cute moment that definitely shows that Yoo isn’t afraid to show his personality in front of his fans.
