Josh Murray And Amanda Stanton Split! The ‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Lovebirds Are Reportedly ‘On A Break’
There’s trouble in paradise for Josh Murray and Amanda Stanton. The couple, who started their romance on Season 3 of Bachelor in Paradise, are reportedly taking a break. Is this the end of their relationship?
An inside source told Us Magazine that Murray and Stanton are no longer together. Despite the split, the insider was hesitant to call the romance off for good.
“[They] broke up, but their relationship is always up in the air,” the source shared. “It’s been like that from the beginning.”
Another source indicated that Murray and Stanton are actually still together. Their romance, however, is anything but perfect. “They definitely have their issues,” the insider explained.
According to Hollywood Life, plenty of her Bachelor in Paradise co-stars warned Stanton about starting a relationship with Murray. Murray faced a lot of criticism following ex-fiance Andi Dorfman’s revealing memoir, It’s Not Okay, where she claims Murray abused her emotionally. While Murray denied the allegations, Stanton refused to listen to anyone.
“I know Josh pretty well now myself, so it’s not something I’m too worried about,” she shared back in August. “There are two sides to every story.”
Murray was engaged to Dorfman after winning her heart on The Bachelorette. Their romance didn’t last long and the couple split less than a year later. Murray went on to find love again on Bachelor in Paradise and things looked promising between him and Stanton.
Murray proposed to Stanton during the Bachelor in Paradise season finale. Shortly after filming ended, the former baseball player moved from Atlanta to Irving, California to live with Stanton in her apartment. “Things are going amazing,” he admitted. “I 100 percent believe that Amanda is somebody I could spend the rest of my life with.”
After making the big move, Daily Mail reports that Josh Murray was forced to become a stepdad to Stanton’s two daughters, Kinsley (4) and Charlie (2). For Murray, the situation couldn’t have gone better.
“We couldn’t be happier,” he said last month. “We have a ton of fun stuff coming up during this holiday season so we are staying very busy!”
Just last week, the couple revealed that they are adjusting well to their new lives. Along with confirming that they are living together, Murray admitted that things are going great. “We’re enjoying life, enjoying the kids and having a good time. We love each other. We’re having a blast,” he stated, adding that they have “been through the gauntlet for sure.”
According to Hollywood Take, Stanton also opened up about some of the hardships in their relationship. In the midst of countless breakup rumors, Stanton admitted that the past few months have been especially stressful for their new relationship.
“I feel like we’ve been through a lot in the past couple of months,” she shared. “I mean, kind of merging our families together. He brought his dog with him, he’s meeting my kids. So, it’s been a lot, but I definitely feel like we’ve gotten stronger through it. We’re really happy.”
Murray went on to say that he has zero regrets about moving to California. He also believes that fans got the wrong impression of their relationship on the show and assured fans that everything is fine.
“The way everything was portrayed, it made [our relationship] seem like it was bad… so we understand people’s concerns, but there’s no concern for us,” he explained. “Hopefully people see how we are in real life, and we’re having a great time.”
Until more information comes to light, there’s no telling what is really going on behind the scenes. For now, Murray and Stanton are looking forward to spending the holidays together but have not set an official wedding date.
