‘Ladies Of London’ Star Caroline Stanbury Admits She And Sophie Stanbury Are ‘Broken’
Ladies of London Season 3 Episode 2 featured a showdown between Caroline Stanbury and her sister-in-law Sophie Stanbury. During a tense exchange, Caroline lashed out at Sophie for betraying her in favor of Julie Montagu. As the previous episode showed, Sophie told Julie that Caroline described her as “dangerous.” Sophie told Caroline that she was sorry and that she didn’t mean to cause any harm. Caroline, however, didn’t accept the apology, accusing Sophie of having known exactly what she was doing and not admitting to it.
So where do the two Stanburys stand now?
After the episode aired, Caroline appeared on Andy Cohen’s talk show, Watch What Happens Live, alongside Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards. During the show, Andy asked Caroline about her current relationship with Sophie.
Caroline admitted that she and Sophie are not good right now. Caroline went so far as describing their relationship as “broken.” Caroline seemingly placed the blame for the estranged relationship with Sophie.
“Not good. No. The Stanbury sisters are broken. It’s not good. It was a shock to me because of all the people I didn’t see that coming, to be honest, at all. I think when you fight with other girls on the show you don’t really care. I never ever saw that coming and I wouldn’t have gone there and she did so…”
On the latest Ladies of London episode, Caroline Stanbury confronted Sophie Stanbury, with whom she was friends prior to Sophie marrying her brother, about telling Julie Montagu that she had warned her that Julie’s “dangerous.” Caroline, pointing her finger at Sophie, accused her of throwing her under the bus and causing a huge mess for her that she’s still trying to get out of it. Sophie told Caroline to stop pointing her finger at her, saying that she was treating her just like how she treats Julie.
“Please don’t point at me. I really don’t need you to do to me what you did to Julie. Pointing your finger, talking louder. You’re not going to win this argument with me.”
Caroline maintained that she was going to win the argument.
“Oh I will win this argument Sophie. I will darling. Yes I will because you did it. You opened your mouth…”
When Sophie said that she has already said that she’s sorry, Caroline wanted more.
“That’s not good enough Sophie. You’ve got to take responsibility…Now I know I can’t trust my family.”
“Fine don’t trust me then,” Sophie replied while also criticizing Caroline for raising her voice.
“I don’t,” Caroline retorted.
When Sophie said that she would never hurt Caroline intentionally, Caroline pointed out that Sophie must have known that Julie wouldn’t be happy about being called “dangerous.” Caroline asked Sophie how she would feel if she went around dropping bombs about her impending divorce to her brother. Caroline then pleaded with Sophie to not share with the other women their private conversations, saying that she wouldn’t do that to her.
In her confessional interview, Sophie said that Caroline has acted “like a total a**hole.”
In her own confessional interview, Caroline said that Sophie, who is now divorcing Caroline’s brother, needs friends now that she’s single and she’s “latching on to anything she can get,” a clear reference to Julie. Caroline added that while she has never questioned Sophie’s loyalty in the past, she’s now beginning to question who she really is.
In another scene with Marissa Hermer, Sophie accused Caroline of using her to harm Julie.
“I think Caroline was trying to have a go at Jules and she was using me and now I completely see that.”
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Caroline last week explained in a media interview and social media comments why she has such a problem with Julie Montagu.
After the episode aired, a blogger tweeted a question asking viewers whose side, Caroline or Sophie’s, they’re on. So far, the majority of the responses have been in favor of Caroline.
Whose side are you on in the tale of two Stanburys?? #LadiesofLondon @C_Stanbury @sjstanbury

Sophie actually responded to the tweet. She asked whether it’s really necessary to take sides.

Will viewers see Caroline and Sophie Stanbury patch things up on Season 4 of Ladies of London? There’s a question of whether there will even be a season 4 and if so, if Caroline will be on it, for Caroline now lives in Dubai. As Caroline explained on the Season 3 premiere episode, her husband accepted a great job offer in Dubai. The episode showed her moving her family out of their home and into a rental in preparation for the big Dubai move. Episode 2 showed her meeting with the interior designers working on her new Dubai home. On Watch What Happens Live, Andy read a viewer question asking Caroline if she’ll be back for another season considering the Dubai move.
Caroline admitted that her future with the show is up in the air.
“I’ve moved to Dubai. I’ve been there four months and you never know.”
When Andy said that he heard that Caroline returns to London for the summer, Caroline Stanbury confirmed that she spends part of her summer in London, as well as in Los Angeles since Dubai is too hot to stay in during the summer.
“I’ve taken a house and I beat the inferno for a month and L.A. for another month. It is too hot.”
