Porsha Williams On Phaedra Parks’ Dating Life: ‘RHOA’ Star To Create Power Couple?
Porsha Williams has become a close friend to Phaedra Parks over the past couple of years, especially since Phaedra learned that her husband had lied to her about his business dealings. For a long time, Parks really wanted her husband to do something great as he had been released from prison for tricking the system once before. But it didn’t take long for investigators to realize that he was cheating the system once again. Apollo Nida was creating companies under false names, and he was charged with fraud and identity theft. He was sentenced to eight years behind bars, and he has served just over two years.
According to a new Bravo report, Porsha Williams is now on a mission to get her friend back in the dating game. As fans are learning on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Parks is more than ready to divorce her husband so she can move on. While Williams is eager to get her friend back in the dating game, Phaedra may hold back a little bit when it comes meeting new men. She has always put her children first, but Porsha Williams feels that Phaedra needs to meet a successful man and become the female half of a power couple.
“I want my friend to be with a God fearing man who will love and support her in everything she does. This time around I have a feeling she will be with someone, and they can be a power couple! She is so loving and loyal, and I believe she will be blessed for being a good wife in her past marriage,” Porsha Williams explains in her blog for Bravo about her plans to get Parks back in the dating game, hinting that her friend may be exploring some options when it comes to getting back on the dating market.

But the dating plans were quickly put on hold when Parks was the subject of a bomb scare. This happened while she was visiting her estranged husband in prison to ask him to sign the divorce papers. Just the day before, Porsha Williams had been with her, and she had expressed a desire to keep Williams with her on the trip to the prison. But Porsha had to fly to Chicago to work with Dish Nation. And it sounds like Porsha Williams was shocked when she heard that a man wanted to kill Phaedra because he felt he was being ignored.
“OMG when I heard the news I was in complete shock! My first thought was whether or not Pheadra was at work or not! I’m so thankful that she is OK and that we later found out what that whole ordeal was really about,” Porsha Williams points out in her blog, sharing that she was completely shocked to learn about his plans to hurt Parks.
But one can imagine that Williams helped her friend move on from the bomb scare once they were both back in Atlanta. The two both attended the Democratic Convention together, and they both listened to some awesome speeches and Williams revealed that she was thankful for the opportunity.
