Blake Shelton Gushes Over GF Gwen Stefani Amid Miranda Lambert Feud Rumors

Miranda Lambert might want to cover her ears. Blake Shelton just appeared on an episode of Ellen and, naturally, his romance with Gwen Stefani was a hot topic. Shelton has never been afraid to talk about Stefani, but his interview with Ellen DeGeneres might be his sweetest yet.

According to Hollywood Life, DeGeneres was a little hesitant to talk about Stefani in the interview. Once she brought up the No Doubt alum, however, Shelton was more than willing to gush about his girlfriend.

“I love talking about Gwen. Are you kidding me?” Shelton admitted. “It’s been just an eye opener to be with someone like her. Believe it or not, I mean, you think — Gwen Stefani and No Doubt, but she is literally maybe the most normal person that I’ve ever met in my life. It’s been good for me to be with somebody that’s so grounded and just a good human being with a great heart.”

Shelton’s compliments kept flowing. Photos of him and Stefani were shown on the screen and the country crooner made sure to let everyone know exactly what he thought.

“And she’s hot!” Shelton said. “Have you seen her? I mean… look at that.”

Things couldn’t be going any better for the couple, who have been together since last November. Not only has their relationship lasted an entire year, but they are slated to join each other as coaches on the new season of The Voice.

As fans will undoubtedly recall, Shelton’s romance with Stefani kicked into high gear on the set of The Voice. In fact, Entertainment Weekly reports that Shelton opened up about the early days of their relationship and how Stefani helped him get through the divorce with Lambert.

“When my marriage fell apart, and then trying to pick the pieces up from being at the rock bottom and trying to move forward, next thing you know, there’s this person that I kind of knew, that I worked with on [The Voice],” Shelton told Chelsea Handler earlier this year. “And then all of a sudden, to find out she’s going through the same exact thing at the same time. … And this is how my life turned around. And so quickly too, by the way. Like, all of this has to be meant to happen.”

While Blake Shelton gushed about his romance, International Business Times is reporting that Lambert is making headlines with her new album, The Weight of These Wings. Lambert has had so much success that Stefani is reportedly obsessed with the album while Shelton won’t let her listen to it.

“…she hasn’t listened to it yet because Blake [Shelton] is currently living at her house in Beverly Hills while he’s taping The Voice in LA and he has a rule that Miranda [Lambert]’s music isn’t played — ever,” an insider revealed.

Shelton doesn’t want to listen to Lambert’s album because it contains references to their divorce. For her part, Lambert has talked much about her latest effort and insists on letting the music do the talking.

“She wants to be over with it, it hurts thinking about it because what she had with Blake was amazing and the fact that it ended the way it did is sad and she doesn’t want to think about it,” an insider explained.

Shelton and Lambert were married for four years before parting ways in 2015. Shelton moved on to date Stefani while Lambert is currently seeing Anderson East.

According to Billboard, Lambert and Shelton will both perform at the upcoming Bayou Country Superfest in New Orleans. The pair will be joined by Brooks & Dunn, Brett Eldredge, Rascal Flatts, Hank Williams Jr., Old Dominion, and Thomas Rhett.
