Angelina Jolie And Brad Pitt Are Not Fighting Over Custody Of A Painting [Debunked]

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt do have a custody battle going on in regards to their children. That is an absolute fact backed up by court documents, even though an agreement might have recently been reached. However, the two are not fighting over a painting. Gossip Cop summarizes a story that claimed so in the print edition of Life & Style.

“According to Life & Style, in addition to fighting over the custody of their six children, Jolie and Pitt or now squaring off over a pricey painting by Winston Churchill. The magazine alleges Jolie contends the painting, titled ‘The Tower of Katoubia Mosque,’ was a gift from Pitt, and she wants the painting as part of the divorce settlement.

Life & Style further adds that Brad is desperate for the picture, and he is not going to let it go so easily. However, as Gossip Cop says in their summary article, the story is completely fabricated.

“Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are not in a ‘bitter battle’ over a painting, despite a new report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this claim. We’re told it’s untrue,” says columnist Michael Lewittes, adding that a source close to the situation says the issues involving money and marital property have been worked out.

This follows another false rumor that was started by Celebrity Dirty Laundry, which wants you to believe that Billy Bob Thornton is trying to woo Angelina back into his arms.

“Billy Bob Thornton is once again opening up about his ex-wife Angelina Jolie. In fact, many sources say there’s a good chance that Billy Bob is trying to win back Angelina, as he’s not only praising her in his interviews but also defending her name and reputation.”

The article adds that in an interview with the Daily Beast, Billy Bob had nothing but gushing things to say about his ex-wife and that he would “defend her to death.” Thornton also says he can’t understand why so many people bash Jolie when she’s gone out of her way to do so much work for those in need. Unfortunately, there are plenty of people bashing Jolie in the comments section after the article.

“Any man who wants Jolie deserves the hell she puts them through. Brad was an idiot to ever leave Jen for someone who is rather unhinged,” says 12Feliciene.

“The only ‘she’s gone out of her way to do so much work for those in need’ was herself. Anyone can read speeches someone else wrote. This woman is a publicity junkie and uses people’s suffering as a vessel to get it,” claims Bubbly.

It looks like that despite all the hype this story caused, it just isn’t true – at least according to Gossip Cop.

“Billy Bob Thornton is NOT trying to win back Angelina Jolie, despite a ridiculous webloid report. Gossip Cop can correct this claim. We’re told it’s false,” says columnist Holly Nicol, who adds that a source close to Mr. Thornton says the rumor is absolutely false.

There is one story regarding Angelina Jolie that is true. She spent Thanksgiving with her kids while Brad Pitt spent Thanksgiving weekend in the Turks and Caicos. According to ET Online, Mr. Pitt stayed at the Amanyara Villas, which is a secluded luxury resort. The fact that he stayed with a male friend may cause tabloids to speculate on his sexuality now, which will only be debunked by Gossip Cop.
