The Battle Between Alec Baldwin & Donald Trump Is Escalating Thanks To ‘SNL’ And Twitter
Irony was the word of the day, as the Alec Baldwin/Donald Trump feud escalated after Baldwin went on SNL, doing his best Donald Trump impression of Donald Trump tweeting like a madman. As a result, Donald Trump began tweeting that he didn’t enjoy the skit about Baldwin, dressed as Trump, tweeting. Most people by now would have stopped watching, but it sounds like SNL is appointment television for Donald Trump and family.
And the tiff is not just between Donald Trump and Alec Baldwin, as Baldwin’s youngest brother, Stephen Baldwin, is a Trump supporter, says the Inquisitr. Stephen Baldwin does not find his brother’s imitation of his friend Donald funny, and he wants it to stop. Falling on opposite sides of the political battle has caused the ripple to go even further in the Baldwin family, as brother Billy, who was a Clinton supporter, had it out with Stephen on Twitter, arguing about who their late father would be more disgusted with. Stephen Baldwin reportedly skipped the Baldwin family Thanksgiving and joined the Trump family instead.
Just after the Trump tweeting skit with Alec Baldwin aired on SNL, Donald Trump was back on Twitter to diss the show, says Philly.
“Just tried watching Saturday Night Live – unwatchable! Totally biased, not funny and the Baldwin impersonation just can’t get any worse. Sad.”

This was even before anyone said, “It’s Saturday Night Live!” The skit had Alec Baldwin as Donald Trump boasting that formerly faceless people across the country were tweeting flattering messages about Donald Trump that he then, to their surprise, retweeted.
“God, Seth seems so cool. His twitter bio says he wants to make America great again.”

SNL star and former Hillary Clinton impersonator, Kate McKinnon, played Trump’s campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, who explained Trump’s tweeting addiction.
“He does it to distract the media from his business conflicts and the scary people in his cabinet.”
But Baldwin’s Trump then corrected her.
“Actually, that’s not why I do it. I do it because my brain is bad.”
But Donald Trump tweeting about SNL is nothing new, as Trump has now called Alec Baldwin’s version of him on SNL biased three times, says Slate. Many believe that SNL is now baiting Donald Trump, and true to form, the President-elect takes the bait every time. Considering that Trump claims to hate SNL and finds it unwatchable, he seems to be coming back for more, finding time to watch it live each week.
“Watched Saturday Night Live hit job on me.Time to retire the boring and unfunny show. Alec Baldwin portrayal stinks. Media rigging election!”
But Alec Baldwin has offered Donald Trump an out and says that he will stop his portrayal of the president to be on one condition that Trump produce those tax returns that are still outstanding. But it seems like for the duration of his time in the White House, SNL can count on the president as a loyal viewer, even if he claims to hate the show.
“I watched parts of @nbcsnl Saturday Night Live last night. It is a totally one-sided, biased show – nothing funny at all. Equal time for us?”

But it doesn’t sound like Alec Baldwin will have to hang up his bag of spray tan bottles anytime soon, as there is no chatter from the Trump camp about tax returns anymore.
