‘Dance Moms’ Season 7 Spoilers: Jill Worries Kendall Will Be Cut From ALDC, Cathy Nesbitt-Stein Returns In Episode 2

Dance Moms Season 7 returns with an all-new episode Tuesday, December 6, with “Abby’s Worst Nightmare.” According to the official synopsis and latest spoilers, Episode 2 will see ALDC coach Abby Lee Miller introduce two new girls to her team in hopes of finding her super team. Abby’s arch-enemy Cathy Nesbitt-Stein will also return in this week’s episode.

During the Dance Moms Season 7 premiere, Abby Lee Miller revealed a shocking announcement: she will be cutting some of the girls from ALDC. Abby explained she would be merging the minis and the junior elites to form one super team. Since the mini moms arrived, Abby held that there had been nothing but chaos, as everyone has their own opinion about the routine and her abilities to lead the ALDC.

The junior elite moms were thrilled that things are about to return to normal, with only one team competing for ALDC. But they were a little disappointed that their kids would have to fight for their spot when they have been on the team for years.

“It’s just what we wanted. One team. One team to get all of Abby’s attention but it’s a little disappointing that this team is going to be made up of our girls and the minis. This is our team. The girls can’t let the minis or the mini moms push them off of it,” Jill Vertes said.

Jill admitted that she was worried about Kendall being cut off from the team. While she claimed it would not be the right move for Abby to cut her daughter off the ALDC, she pointed out that Abby isn’t always the type of person who does what’s right.

Abby shared that she wanted ALDC to go back to its glory days when they were able to win 14 times in a row. The Dance Moms star believed that having a little rivalry between the two teams will help push the girls to become better dancers.

“A few seasons ago when ALDC won 14 times in a row, there was a big rivalry between the dancers and that’s what’s pushing everybody to be the best. I don’t see that anymore in this team. I want to get back to the glory days. I want those 14 wins in a row and you don’t get that by playing nice.”

According to the show’s spoiler site, Abby Lee Miller will be introducing eight new dancers to ALDC. Two of them, Camryn Bridges and Daviana Fletcher, will be making their debut in Dance Moms Season 7 Episode 2. Camryn and Daviana will be competing in the Fierce National Dance Competition, alongside Kendall Vertes, Nia Frazier, and Kalani Hilliker, with a lyrical group routine titled “We Go On.” The site further revealed that an “unknown drama” involving Abby and the moms would cause the ALDC coach to walk out before the group dance.

Dance Moms Season 7 Episode 2 will also see the return of Abby’s “worst nightmare” Cathy Nesbitt-Stein. The Candy Apples will be competing against ALDC in the Fierce National Dance Competition.

“I need a hundred percent if we’re gonna beat Cathy,” Abby said.

Abby’s clearly not the only one who has an issue with Cathy. The junior elite moms were also less than thrilled when they found out that ALDC is going against Candy Apples again.

“All of her enemies, that’s the biggest,” Jill said.

“We never can go to a competition with Cathy and have it go well,” Holly Frazier added.

True enough, the next scene showed Cathy accusing Jill of being “ignorant.”

“Shut up, you!” Jill fired back.

Dance Moms Season 7 Episode 2, titled “Abby’s Worst Nightmare” airs Tuesday, December 6 on Lifetime.
