Dolly Parton’s movie Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love premiered on NBC and has garnered rave reviews. The video is now available to watch online and on demand. Following the success of Parton’s previous movie Coat of Many Colors,Circle of Love focuses on another heartwarming story from Dolly’s childhood. Parton’s Christmas movies are based upon faith in Jesus Christ, the miracle of Jesus’ birth and how God’s love is shared first in family and then extends to others. At a time when many celebrities and networks shy away from speaking the name of Jesus Christ or have replaced Merry Christmas with Happy Holidays, Parton’s films are reminiscent of the holiday films of the past. Dolly Parton comes from a Pentecostal family and fame hasn’t hardened her towards her faith. The success of her movies show that faith resonates with millions of viewers.

As Dolly Parton’s Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love is a biographical movie, the characters portrayed are based upon real life people from Dolly’s life. Her parents, Avie Lee and Robert Parton are portrayed in the movies by Jennifer Nettles and Rick Schroeder. The movies also feature some of Dolly Parton’s 11 siblings. There are six boys and six girls, including Dolly. In the movie, Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love, Dolly Parton was 9-years-old and the family had eight children. Alyvia Alyn Lind plays Dolly Parton as a child.

Dolly Parton’s siblings are Stella Parton (who was cast in Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love as Corla Bass), Rachel Dennison, Willadeene Parton, Freida Estelle Parton, Cassie Nan Parton, Robert Lee Parton, Jr., Randy Parton, Floyd Parton, Larry Gerald Parton, David Wilburn Parton and Coy Denver Parton. In addition to Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love and Coat of Many Colors, Dolly Parton has appeared in many Christmas specials and movies over the years. The inclusion of a good-hearted prostitute in the Christmas movie seems to have had a welcome response from fans. In addition to the many lessons Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love teaches us, the movie also shows not to judge others as you never know who might be an angel in disguise.

Dolly Parton’s Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love is on Hulu and free to watch. The movie has an 8.5 rating on IMDB and has drawn praise from many viewers. Dolly Parton is known for being compassionate and generous and has recently made headlines aside from her movie premiere. The Smoky Mountains wildfire has caused havoc and devastation for many in Parton’s hometown. She announced through her official website that she is raising money to donate $1,000 per month to those who’ve lost their homes to the fire. Dolly Parton states that 100 percent of the money donated will go the Smoky Mountains wildfire victims. The Foundation pledges that $1,000 per month will be donated for up to six months for those who need it.
