Vice President Joe Biden reportedly offended the father of a former Navy Seal killed at the Benghazi embassy attack in Libya. Charles Woods, the father of Tyrone Woods, called into The Glenn Beck Program on Thursday. He shared his thoughts on meeting Biden, President Barack Obama, and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, when his son’s coffin arrived at Andrews Air Force Base.
The grieving father had stayed largely silent on the tragic deaths in Libya, not wanting to foster a political discussion on the terror attack. Woods’ emotions and unanswered questions appeared to push the father onto the airwaves in an attempt to make sure that the American people did not forget the lives lost during the embassy attack.
During the interview, Charles Woods stated that Biden was disrespectful at the Andrews Air Force Base ceremony. The father maintains that the vice president asked, in a “loud and boisterous” voice, “Did your son always have balls the size of cue balls?”
When referencing his experience with President Obama, Woods had this to say:
“When he finally came over to where we were, I could tell that he was rather conflicted, a person who was not at peace with himself. Shaking hands with him, quite frankly, was like shaking hands with a dead fish. His face was pointed towards me but he would not look me in the eye, his eyes were over my shoulder. I could tell that he was not sorry. He had no remorse. They denied the pleas for help and they watched my son die.”
Charles also stated that Hillary Clinton assured him that the United States would “make sure that the person who made that film” was arrested and prosecuted.
