TNA News: Current Champion In TNA Invades Ring Of Honor’s ‘Final Battle’ Event – Issues Challenge To Top Tag Teams
Last night, Ring Of Honor put on their Final Battle pay-per-view (PPV) which saw a new champion crowned and some big-time action. One thing that took place and that no one expected was an invasion by a current champion from TNA Impact Wrestling. This was ROH’s biggest show of the year, and it was one that saw “Broken” Matt Hardy appear and issue a challenge for two of the biggest tag teams to join Total Nonstop Deletion.
At Final Battle on Friday night, the ROH World Tag Team Championship was on the line as The Young Bucks defended against The Briscoes. Needless to say, it was quite an insane battle that did not disappoint the fans as recapped by WrestleZone.

After all was said and done, The Youg Bucks did retain their titles, but that was when something really weird and interesting happened.
The lights went out in the entire arena and “Broken” Matt Hardy appeared on the big screen. Yes, the Matt Hardy who is currently one-half of the TNA World Tag Team Champions with Brother Nero aka his brother Jeff Hardy.
As the crowd goes absolutely nuts for seeing Matt Hardy on the screen, he addresses the two tag teams in the ring. Matt says he and Brother Nero are coming to ROH to take care of the “spot monkeys” known as The Young Bucks.
Matt goes on to say that he and Brother Nero will take care of the redneck hillbillies (Briscoes) and the spot monkeys by deleting them. All of the fans begin a massive “Delete With Matt” chant before they keep going with a “Delete” chant for long after Hardy is off the screen.
My #BROKENBrilliance is now stronger & my desire to DELETE is greater than EVAH.
As a CELESTIAL BEING, I may show up ANYWHERE & DELETE. pic.twitter.com/k5wM7Eq730

The crowd at Final Battle absolutely lost their minds when they saw “Broken” Matt Hardy appear on the screen and address The Young Bucks and the Briscoes. No one saw it coming as it was a complete and total surprise for everyone in attendance.
WrestleView brings up a good point that both Matt and Jeff Hardy are still indeed under contract to TNA Impact Wrestling. Cody Rhodes is also under contract to TNA, but he has a deal in place which allows him to do other work such as taking on Jay Lethal last night at Final Battle.
It appears as if TNA did give the Hardys permission to work one or select dates with ROH, and that ROH will return the favor back to Impact Wrestling. When TNA revealed “Total Nonstop Deletion” and some of the details, not everything was revealed, and that included which tag teams would end up appearing at The Hardy Compound in North Carolina.
On Dec. 15, “Total Nonstop Deletion” is going to be unlike anything that any wrestling fan has ever seen in their lifetime. “Broken” Matt Hardy and Brother Nero (Jeff Hardy) will host this entire thing, and there is no telling just which tag teams from which organizations could show up.
On Dec 15th, I provide The GREATEST & MOST ARRESTING 2 HOURS of pro wrestling EVAH.
A paradigm for the industry.#TotalNonstopDELETION pic.twitter.com/f2TcN5SJBJ

No one exactly knows what is going to happen at The Hardy Compound on Dec. 15, but it is most likely going to be quite insane. Seeing “Broken” Matt Hardy invade Ring of Honor’s Final Battle event has taken this to a new level and things are only going to get stranger. ROH Tag Team Champions, The Young Bucks, are expected to appear, and it seems the Briscoes may as well, but there is still no telling how violent and weird “Total Nonstop Deletion” will get.
