Miley Cyrus ‘The Voice’ Feud: Adam Levine & Blake Shelton Replaced By Christina Aguilera & Pharrell For Season 13? [Rumors]
Miley Cyrus has already confirmed that she will be returning to her revolving The Voice chair for Season 13, but rumors are now swirling that Miley’s big return could potentially be without Adam Levine and Blake Shelton but with Christina Aguilera and Pharrell Williams.
According to reports, Miley has not been getting along with her male co-coaches since she joined the show earlier this year, and things have allegedly gotten so bad between the coaches that both Levine and Shelton are supposedly now considering not appearing on Season 13 of The Voice when Cyrus makes her return.
Radar Online recently alleged amid the feud claims that “both Adam and Blake feel that they have run their course as judges” after appearing on all 11 seasons of the show so far, 12 once the next season has wrapped, and claimed that Levine in particular is ready to leave The Voice rather than sit alongside Cyrus again.
“Adam does not really want to return if they bring Miley back,” the site’s The Voice insider alleged of Levine potentially quitting the show, claiming that if Adam does in fact walk, it’s more than likely that Blake and his girlfriend Gwen Stefani, who is confirmed to be taking over Cyrus’s seat for Season 12, will join him.
But while Adam, Blake and Gwen have so far stayed seriously tight-lipped regarding their status as coaches for Season 13, rumors are swirling that Levine may in fact return alongside Cyrus after all despite the latest claims, while both Shelton and Stefani could potentially be the ones to leave The Voice after Season 12 with fellow returnee Alicia Keys.
Contrary to reports claiming Adam “does not really want to return” with Miley, a Cyrus update account claimed that there’s a chance the Maroon 5 frontman will in fact be back for Season 13 alongside returning coaches Christina Aguilera and Pharrell Williams, despite rampant claims of a nasty feud between Levine and Cyrus.
“Rumor is that along with Miley, the other Season 13 coaches will be Adam, Christina Aguilera and Pharrell Williams!” @TeamCyrusHD alleged on Twitter of what the coaching panel will look like, although NBC and The Voice have not yet commented on the rumors.
But while there are contrasting reports regarding Levine’s future with The Voice as the feud accusations continue to hit the headlines, rumors suggesting Adam may leave come shortly after OK! Magazine also alluded to a feud between the Season 11 coaches, claiming that Miley “feels like it’s a boys’ club” and has allegedly been fighting with both Adam and Blake on The Voice set.

“Things are so bad. She’s had enough,” a source alleged to the site of Miley Cyrus amid the supposed The Voice feud, claiming in September, before it was announced that Miley would be sitting out Season 12 and instead returning to the singing show next Fall, that Cyrus was allegedly considering quitting the series all together rather than sit alongside Adam Levine and Blake Shelton again.
“[Miley] feels like it’s a boys’ club and that she’s all alone,” continued The Voice source of Miley, alleging that Cyrus “feels like [Adam’s] favorite target” when it comes to the banter that’s become synonymous with the show.
The site’s Cyrus insider then went on to allege that the supposed feud has left Miley “in tears” on at least one occasion, and reported that Cyrus allegedly feels that Levine “tears apart everything [she] does” and “gangs up” on her with Blake both on and off camera.
The Voice and NBC have never officially confirmed a feud between Cyrus and any of her three co-coaches, though OK! Magazine’s insider isn’t the only source to claim that Blake was also caught up in a nasty feud with Miley amid Cyrus’s long rumored fallout with Adam.
Radar Online previously claimed earlier this year that Shelton was allegedly less than thrilled when he heard that Cyrus would be joining the show, claiming amid the feud rumors that he began campaigning to get Gwen, who he’s been dating for more than a year, back on The Voice in Miley’s place before the current season even began airing.
A source revealed in September that Shelton and Stefani were allegedly less than thrilled when it was announced that Miley would be joining The Voice coaching panel, telling the site that “Blake made it clear to the producers that he wanted Gwen by his side for the upcoming season,” and supposedly suggested that “if [Stefani] did not return then neither would he.”
The site even went as far as to claim that Cyrus also supposedly also hasn’t been getting along with those behind the scenes and alleged that executives “offered Miley the gig for Season 13” because they knew it “would not create any drama over being replaced by Gwen” for the upcoming round of shows and would also keep her out of Blake and Adam’s way amid the feud accusations.
