Mila Kunis And Ashton Kutcher Welcome Baby Boy: When Can Fans Expect To See Photos? [Opinion]

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher welcomed their second baby on November 30, according to Kutcher’s A Plus site.

The couple decided to name their son Dimitri Portwood after leaving fans guessing for months on what the baby’s name would be. Ashton previously teased the name “Hawkeye” by revealing Mila quickly dismissed it as an option for their son, reports Us Magazine. But the baby’s name isn’t the only thing the parents kept quiet.

Mila and Ashton are notorious for keeping their private life, well, private. Vanity Fair reported the couple released information on Dimitri’s birth in order to maintain a certain level of privacy. Indeed, Kutcher included a statement in the A Plus announcement about allowing their kids to have privacy.

“We’d like to allow our kids to make their own choices on whether to have a life in the public eye or not.”

Judging by how secret the couple was about the pregnancy— fans weren’t even sure exactly when Mila was due to give birth— they will be just as, if not more, careful with their new son. Ashton and Mila both shy away from social media, as she doesn’t have an Instagram and he rarely posts personal photos on his. Most of the photos the world sees of their 2-year-old daughter Wyatt are taken by the paparazzi.

So when can fans expect to see photos of little Dimitri Portwood? Probably not for a while.

If the snaps of Wyatt are any indication of when the world will be introduced to Mila and Ashton’s son, it’s going to be some time. It’s doubtful the paparazzi will get any shots of the newborn until his parents are ready, and given their track record, it most likely won’t be until he’s a bit older.

While Mila and Ashton tend to be low-key when it comes to the public eye, they have opened up about their parenting style during a past interview, according to Daily Mail. Mila discussed wanting her children to understand a dollar’s worth and not grow up to be a**holes.

“And so, it’s a matter of teaching them from a very early age that Mommy and Daddy may have a dollar, but you’re poor.”

Mila and Ashton don’t seem to be the typical celebrity parents. They aren’t out for publicity and aren’t using their children to gain attention as some celebs, who shall remain unnamed, seem to do. However, while that’s very respectable of them, they do have fans eagerly waiting to get a glimpse of the newest addition.

Kunis was spotted just a day before giving birth in Los Angeles, and the photos quickly hit the internet as fans eagerly awaited baby news. In fact, it seems anytime Mila or Ashton is spotted in public, it makes the headlines. The family was photographed getting Jamba Juice in early November with Wyatt in tow. Photos quickly were posted to social media that showed Mila and her baby bump and little Wyatt ordering juice.

Given how popular the family is, fans shouldn’t be surprised Mila and Ashton seek some privacy when raising their children. It seems even a simple outing can turn into a news event as fans and paparazzi scramble to get photos. So, once again, it will probably be a while before the actors decide to share photos of baby Dimitri.
