Gigi Hadid Experiences Wardrobe Malfunction At Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show But Recovers Like A Champ

Gigi Hadid did what she does best during this year’s Victoria’s Secret fashion show but it was not easy because the beautiful model had a wardrobe malfunction.

Gigi graced the red carpet on Wednesday night together with her fellow model friends. She showcased her stunning beauty and incredible Victoria’s Secret lingerie during the section dubbed “Secret Angel” in which she wore strapped wings. Unfortunately, the 21-year-old model experienced a malfunction with the strap on her chest while she was on the runway. Luckily, she managed to recover and continue with her job. It proved that she is definitely ready to tackle the runway no matter what comes her way.

Gigi’s wardrobe malfunction happened because one of the straps for the wings and the bra broke. Fortunately, the wings did not fall off and she proceeded with the show as if nothing had happened. Wardrobe malfunctions aside, Gigi looked incredible on the runway. She really pulled off the angel look with the big black wings, which were held in place by velvet ties. She was also clad in a black lace bra.

It was quite an interesting and successful night at the fashion show. Other than the small mishap everything went well and it was a big night. It was a big night for Gigi and her sister Bella Hadid. Bella made her debut as a Victoria’s Secret model, following in the footsteps of her sister who made her debut in 2015. Bella was also excited because she made her debut with sparkly “disco ball” wings.

“I can’t believe I have wings. It’s surreal! It’s crazy,” exclaimed Bella.

The two walked the runway together and were able to fulfill a life-long dream of theirs to do the runway together. Their mother, Yolanda Hadid who is a former star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was clearly emotional about her daughters and their success on the runway. She even took to social media where she posted a throwback photo of her two daughters wearing white wings when they were very young.

“17 years after I photographed my ‘ANGELS.’ Today is the day that they will be walking in the fashion show together,” wrote Yolanda in the photo caption.

It was clearly a dream come true for the two sisters and also for their parents who could not hide their happiness and pride in what their daughters had achieved. Bella also wrote that it was a dream come true to be performing next to one of her best friends. Speaking of best friends, Kendall Jenner who is also very close with the Hadid sisters was also present at the show and was among the models that graced the runway with different sexy outfits. Just like Gigi, it was Kendall’s second year as a Victoria’s Secret model after her debut last year.

The three got to perform alongside modeling icons such as Irina Shayk and Alessandra Ambrosio. They proved that they have what it takes to be among the top models in the business. The colorful event is currently the center of attraction in Paris. The fashion show also featured an impressive live performance from pop icon Lady Gaga who took to the runway with as much glamor as the Victoria’s Secret models.

The event is also expected to feature other artists including Bruno Mars and the Weekend who will be performing this week as the event unfolds. So far it has been a fantastic week for the Hadid sisters. They get to experience their modeling careers blossom as they also perform together at the runway. Gigi has been too excited to let her wardrobe malfunction get in the way of having fun at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show.
