Kim Zolciak Returning To ‘RHOA’: Why The ‘Don’t Be Tardy’ Is Star Heading Back To Her Reality Roots
Kim Zolciak is heading back to the Real Housewives of Atlanta after all. The Don’t Be Tardy star is expected to make a cameo in Season 9 during a party at Sheree Whitfield’s home. How did everyone react to Zolciak’s return?
Celebrity Dirty Laundry reports that Zolciak’s return was first spoiled by former RHOA star NeNe Leakes. Leakes told fans on social media that her contract fell through and producers were trying to get Zolciak to fill in on short notice. Cynthia Bailey recently confirmed the rumors when she revealed that Zolciak was at Whitfield’s party.
Zolciak was part of the show from Season 1 until Season 5 when she quit mid-season. The reality star walked away after an explosive lunch outing with Cynthia Bailey, Leakes, Kandi Burruss, Phaedra Parks, Kenya Moore, and Porsha Williams.
According to Buddy TV, Bailey is all for Zolciak joining the show, as long it boosts ratings. “I don’t know what is going to happen in the future,” she stated.
“All the original cast from the Housewives, I always take my hat off to them because they started the whole thing. Without them, we wouldn’t be here. So hey — if it’s gonna make the show better and you want to jump on the team and help keep this show no. 1, then by all means, come.”
Since her departure, the mother of six moved on to star in her own reality show, Don’t Be Tardy, which centers around her family life with former NFL pro Kroy Biermann and their kids. There’s no telling what kind of drama Zolciak will bring to RHOA next season, but there’s a good bet it will involve her family life.
Zolciak has been at the center of numerous controversies this past year. After her husband was cut from the Buffalo Bills, rumors surfaced that their marriage was in trouble. More recently, the reality star came under fire over how she promotes plastic surgery with her own kids, especially Brielle Biermann.
Zolciak constantly shares photos of Brielle on social media in questionable attire and even helped pay for her daughter’s lip injections. Of course, both of them deny that Brielle has gotten anything done, though Zolciak has been under the knife on a few occasions.
With a busy schedule of filming ahead, ET Online reports that Zolciak recently took the time to show off her extensive Christmas decorations. The 38-year-old shared a video of each room of her home this past weekend, debuting a surprising transformation following the Thanksgiving holiday.
“It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas,” Kim Zolciak sang during the tour.
“I just want you guys to know that my husband has put up 99 percent of these Christmas decorations. You guys can obviously tell that I love Christmas.”
Despite the rumors of marital woes, Zolciak recently opened up about how she and Biermann have made things work over the years. Apparently, Biermann has everything Zolciak ever wanted in a man.
“It’s not really work for us. I’m very attracted to him, so that’s easy. Check that off. He’s really such an incredible husband. He cooks, he cleans, he helps me with my shoes, he’ll fix my wig, whatever — you name it, he does it,” she explained.
“For example, if I’m doing the dishes, and he bathes the babies, and they all go to bed… then Kroy and I have the time together.”
Biermann isn’t the only person Zolciak is thankful for. According to Daily Mail, the reality star just celebrated her 3-year-old twins Kane and Kaia’s birthday. To mark the occasion, Zolciak bought the twins a cake and shared a throwback image of her pregnancy.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY @kanebiermann @kaiabiermann I just can’t believe it was 3 years ago that I could of killed your daddy (giving birth to twins is no joke),” she wrote alongside the pic.
