A Dream Of Christmas is one of those movies that will resonate with the audience since so many real-life married couples also wish that they had never gotten married. An article in the Daily Mail outlines some frightening statistics based on market research performed by OnePoll.
- Out of the couples interviewed, a quarter of the couples wishes they had never walked down the aisle.
- A third married for reasons other than love, such as having the ability to purchase a family home or to have children.
- Twenty-three percent of married people regret marrying their current spouse. Some go a step further by wishing they had married a previous girlfriend or boyfriend.
- About thirty-three percent dreamed of having the single life again with a slightly higher number being sexually dissatisfied with their current spouse.
How dreadful! And this is why Hallmark Channel is such a success. Their delightfully made movies carry the viewer away, making them wish and dream of a more exciting and enchanting life.
The Hallmark Channel’s A Dream Of Christmas, aka It’s A Wonderful Wife, was filmed in the U.S. and executive produced by Howard Brownstein and Gary Yates.
