Taylor Swift And Conor Kennedy Have Been Broken Up For A Month, Report Says

Taylor Swift and Conor Kennedy have been broken up for a month, quietly splitting up due to differing schedules that made it nearly impossible for the young lovers to see each other.

The 22-year-old singer broke up with the 18-year-old Kennedy a few weeks ago, a close friend told Us Weekly.

“They quietly parted ways a while ago,” the friend reveals of the “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” singer and her high school senior boyfriend. “It was just a distance thing. No hard feelings. They’re fine.”

Taylor Swift’s romance with Conor Kennedy started in July when the singer was spotted at the family’s compound in Hyannisport, Massachusetts. They were spotted together in some places around Massachusetts, and Taylor moved the relationship forward quickly when she purchased a seven-bedroom waterfront estate across the street from the Kennedy compound for $4.9 million.

The break-up came down to the couple’s time together, or lack of time together rather. Taylor Swift is busy promoting her new album, Red, and getting ready to take a world tour, The Huffington Post noted. This leaves her scheduled booked completely, and with Conor Kennedy still in high school they had no chances to see each other.

“It’s been over a month since they’ve even seen each other,” the friend told Us Weekly. “With her promotion for “Red,” she has no time off until the end of the year.”

Taylor Swift has a penchant for turning break-ups into inspiration for her songs, but the quiet nature of her split with Conor Kennedy — and the fact that he’s still a high schooler — points to this one staying private.
