Amanda Seyfried Announces She’s Expecting By Showing Off Adorable Baby Bump

First comes love, then comes a baby for actress Amanda Seyfried! The 30-year-old Seyfried made her engagement publicly official in September, according to E! News, and is now expecting her first baby with fiancé Thomas Sadoski.

She showed off her tiny baby bump for the first time at Givenchy’s Live Irresistible fragrance launch on Tuesday in a skin tight black mini dress.

Amanda posed with hand on hip as she flaunted her baby bump. She was seen with a low ponytail and minimal accessories as all eyes focused on her rounded belly.

News of her pregnancy quickly spread as fans expressed their excitement over the impending bundle of joy. Instagram commenters shared their enthusiasm about Seyfried’s baby bump photo with thoughts such as “omg! And she’s slayin it!” and “aww look at her little bump.”

It’s safe to say her fans are happy to see her opening this next chapter in her life. Amanda and Thomas are said to keep their relationship relatively private, but this is one secret they couldn’t hide much longer. With Seyfried’s baby bump starting to show, it was only a matter of time before her fans caught a glimpse.

She’s low-key when it comes to social media posts, and her Instagram is mainly photos of animals. So far, Amanda has yet to post a baby bump pic on the account.

It seems the blue-eyed beauty was waiting for the exact right moment to make her pregnancy announcement. And some announcement it was! Seyfried and her husband-to-be don’t make numerous red carpet appearances, according to E! News, so it seems this special moment in the spotlight was perfect for debuting a baby bump.

Amanda had previously expressed her desire to start a family in a Marie Claire U.K. interview last year, reports Us Magazine.

“I keep feeling like my eggs are dying off. I need to get on it. I want a child. Badly. I want to be a mother, badly. she told the That’s what I feel. I’ve been feeling it for like, two years.”

Amanda and Thomas met in 2015 while starring in play The Way We Get By. However, they didn’t start dating until this year when they both has roles in the movie The Last Word.

Seyfried was previously dating actor Justin Long before calling off the two-year relationship in September 2015, according to Us Magazine. Sadoski was previously married to casting director Kimberly Hope from 2007 to 2015 but does not have any children from the relationship. While the couple is all smiles as they announce their engagement and impending child together, there was a bit of drama in the beginning of their relationship.

Radar Online reported Thomas was still married to Kimberly when he first met Amanda, which raised a few questions of infidelity. Both Seyfried and Sadoski announced their breakups from their former partners within weeks of each other, with his divorce being finalized in December 2015.

Amanda is best known for her roles in movies such as Mean Girls, Mamma Mia!, and Dear John, while Thomas is known for his role in the series Life in Pieces. They both maintain a somewhat private life while not on screen, but that may change as fans eagerly await baby news.

Fans may be ready to welcome a mini Seyfried to the world, but the actress herself had a few doubts when it came to becoming a mother. She told Marie Claire U.K. that there was no way to ever be truly ready for a baby, but it seems she’s decided to take the plunge into motherhood after all.

“I’m not ready but nobody’s ready. It changes everything… so how you can ever be ready for that?”
