‘Fear The Walking Dead: Passage’ Part 7: Someone Enters The Tunnel, But Someone Else Gets Stabbed In The Process
Part 7 of AMC’s web series, Fear the Walking Dead: Passage sees some of the trio finally entering the tunnel. Who is safe, and who gets stabbed?
Spoiler alert: This article discusses AMC’s Fear the Walking Dead: Passage. Please proceed with caution if you have not yet viewed all the episodes and would like to avoid spoilers.
According to the press release, the synopsis for Fear the Walking Dead: Passage follows.
“The second season of webisodes follows a fearsome survivor, Sierra (Kelsey Scott), who agrees to help an injured woman, Gabi (Mishel Prada), in exchange for an apocalyptic sanctuary. Over the course of their harrowing journey, the women go on to face many dangers and learn what they need to survive.”
Part 6 of Fear the Walking Dead: Passage saw Gabi reunited with her boyfriend, Colton (Mike Mosley). There were a few moments in that episode where viewers questioned whether Colton would allow Sierra access to the tunnel that leads through to Mexico from the U.S., as Colton seemed extremely protective of the tunnel in Part 6 of Passage, and this has continued through into Part 7.
Sierra announces that the sound of the shot Colton fired to save Gabi in Part 6 of Fear the Walking Dead: Passage will attract the infected to them. Colton agrees and grabs Gabi’s hand, telling them that they aren’t safe there now. He leads them into the shipping container he first appeared from in Part 6 and the tunnel is revealed. Colton tells Gabi to go into the tunnel. She enters, but is concerned Colton won’t let Sierra in as well. Colton assures Gabi he will be right behind her, Sierra as well.
Once Gabi is in the tunnel, however, Colton tells Sierra that he won’t let her enter. He doesn’t want her revealing to others the location of the tunnel. Sierra insists she just wants to “get somewhere safe.” Colton pulls a gun on Sierra, but she reaches out and stabs him before he has a chance to take proper aim. She rushes down the ladder into the tunnel, leaving Colton on the surface with a knife stuck in his leg.
Since Sierra didn’t kill Colton in Part 6 of Fear the Walking Dead: Passage, it will be interesting to see what happens in Part 8. Especially since Sierra left her knife in Colton’s leg and did not appear to take the gun he dropped when she stabbed him. How Gabi takes the news that her new apocalypse friend has stabbed her boyfriend will be interesting to see unfold as well.
