Cops: Missouri Teen Who Stabbed ‘Vampire’ Boyfriend Says She Could Be A Serial Killer
A Missouri teen is in trouble after authorities in Springfield say she stabbed her boyfriend during an argument. However, the stabbing isn’t the most shocking detail in this downright bizarre case. CBS News reports that 19-year-old Victoria Vanatter told police that she could become a serial killer.
The incident reportedly took place on the day before Thanksgiving. Police say that they arrived at the home shared by the Missouri teen and her boyfriend, after receiving a 911 call about someone in the residence being injured. When they arrived they found a man covered in blood. The man reportedly told responding officers that he and his girlfriend did not need help, before slamming the door.
Police say that the 19-year-old Missouri woman came to the door shortly after it was slammed. She was reportedly covered in blood as well. During this time, her boyfriend told police that the wounds on his chest were self-inflicted. However, Victoria Vanatter admitted that she had in fact caused the injuries.
Authorities say that Vanatter admitted to stabbing her boyfriend multiple times — with multiple knives — after the two had gotten into an argument. She explained that she had allowed her boyfriend to cut her with a box-cutter to drink her blood shortly before the incident. She reportedly told police that she was a “cutter,” and that she also liked to consume her own blood. At the time of her arrest, the Missouri teen reportedly told authorities that she was “a threat to society” that needed to be taken seriously. She also told them that she could “be a serial killer in the future.”
The responding officers say that the home inhabited by the couple was a crime scene, with blood on the kitchen counters and walls. They say that a heart was written in blood on the living room wall — which Victoria Vanatter has admitted to doing.

This isn’t the first time so-called vampirism has been involved in the arrest of one or more people. In 2011, a 19-year-old Texas teen reportedly broke into a woman’s home in order to “feed” on her. The alleged victim of the incident says that the teen was hissing while “biting and hitting her.” Luckily, the woman was fortunate enough to escape, and Lyle Bensley was arrested. At the time of his arrest, he told authorities that he was a 500-year-old vampire.
Also in 2011, a Florida woman was arrested for reportedly biting an elderly man who was also bound to a wheelchair. NBC News reports that 22-year-old Josephine Rebecca Smith told her alleged victim that she was a vampire, before she pounced on him and began biting chunks of flesh from his face.

Just this year, a New Hampshire man was arrested for reportedly assaulting a grocery store employee. CBS News reports that Jacob May told police that he was a vampire, at the time of his arrest.
As for this latest story, Missouri teen Victoria Vanatter has been charged with first-degree domestic assault, and armed criminal action. She is currently being held on bond in the amount of $150k. Meanwhile, this isn’t the first time she’s been in trouble for a violent crime. The 19-year-old Missouri woman has previously been arrested for felony assault and unlawful use of a weapon. At the time of this recent arrest, she was on probation for at least one of those convictions.
