Jenelle Evans Denies She’s Pregnant In ‘Teen Mom 2’ Trailer, Continues To Feud With Her Mom
Jenelle Evans might be expecting a baby girl in less than two months, but during production on the latest season of Teen Mom 2, she was seen denying her pregnancy.
In a scene from the recently released Season 8 trailer for Teen Mom 2, Jenelle Evans and her boyfriend of about one year, David Eason, are seen sitting on a couch together as producers question them about Evans’ possible pregnancy.
“Are you guys pregnant?” a woman asks.
“No! No, I’m not,” Jenelle Evans responds as Eason sits beside her with a suspicious smile on his face.
One scene later, however, Jenelle Evans’ mom, Barbara Evans, who has full custody of her oldest son, Jace, 7, is heard discussing a police report, in which it was revealed that Evans was “at least 10 weeks pregnant.”
In mid-July, Us Weekly shared a report claiming Jenelle Evans was expecting her first child and revealing a police report taken after a minor fender-bender revealed the surprising news. At the time, Jenelle Evans was likely about three months pregnant.
According to the magazine, a legal document claimed the 24-year-old reality star and her 28-year-old boyfriend were involved in a 2-car crash in Wilmington, North Carolina after Eason reportedly rear-ended another vehicle while at a traffic light.
“The passenger in vehicle #1 stated that she is at least (10) weeks pregnant and complained of abdominal pain,” the report read.
After the report had been shared, Jenelle Evans was immediately faced with a backlash from fans who didn’t think she should be having another child before regaining custody of Jace and others who felt she shouldn’t have three kids by three different men. In turn, Jenelle Evans went on a rant on social media, claiming to have been disgusted by the reaction. She also pointed out that when someone else announced their pregnancy, the world was overjoyed.
While it was initially assumed that Jenelle Evans was referring to Chelsea Houska, who had announced her pregnancy just days prior, Evans later claimed she wasn’t talking about her Teen Mom 2 co-star and deleted her post entirely.
As the trailer continues, fans watch as Jenelle Evans feuds with her mother over regaining custody of Jace.
“You do not want to give me my son back, so I do not want to film with you ever again in my f**king life,” Jenelle Evans yells.
“If I get custody, you will have limited visitation,” Barbara responds.
Earlier this year, ahead of the seventh season of Teen Mom 2, Jenelle Evans opened up about her custody struggles with Barbara to People Magazine.
“Jace recently asked me: ‘When can I live with you again?'” Jenelle Evans explained to the magazine. “I said: ‘Well, hopefully by the summer you’ll be living here.’ But that’s all I told him – I don’t want him to know too much right now ’cause it’s really detrimental.”
“We really don’t talk other than if it’s about Jace, because if we are around each other too much we start arguing,” Evans continued.
In the same interview, which was conducted just months before Jenelle Evans’ pregnancy reveal, she claimed she and Eason were not planning on having children or getting married anytime soon. She then said that she did see Eason as someone who would be good to have kids with.
In addition to her oldest son, 7-year-old Jace, whose father is her ex-boyfriend, Andrew Lewis, Jenelle Evans is mom to 2-year-old Kaiser, whose father is her former fiance, Nathan Griffith.
