Angelina Jolie Is Allegedly Keeping Her Kids From Brad Pitt? He Reportedly Spent Thanksgiving On An Island

Angelina Jolie reportedly kept her six kids from their father, Brad Pitt, on Thanksgiving.

Although both Angelina Jolie and her estranged husband have homes in Los Angeles, he reportedly spent Thanksgiving weekend “hanging out with one of his buddies” because Jolie wouldn’t let him visit their children, Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8.

According to a Page Six report, past rumors had claimed Pitt could potentially join Angelina Jolie and their kids for Thanksgiving, but in the end, they were 3,000 miles apart.

“[Brad Pitt] was at Amanyara in Turks and Caicos over Thanksgiving in a private villa… [Angelina Jolie] wouldn’t let him see the kids,” a source told the outlet on November 28.

“Brad was with one of his male buddies for the weekend,” added a second source.

According to the report, villas at the posh island resort allegedly cost up to $34,000 per night, and in the past, Angelina Jolie and her former partner had been known to visit the resort’s sister properties, Amanpuri in Thailand and Amangiri in Utah.

While an OK! Magazine report suggested Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt had made a “temporary truce” earlier this month which would allow Pitt to celebrate Thanksgiving with his family, Gossip Cop ultimately shot down the report.

Prior to his trip to Turks and Caicos, Pitt made numerous appearances to promote his new film with Marion Cotillard, Allied. In fact, Pitt’s first post-divorce red carpet appearance took place at the film’s Los Angeles premiere.

As the outlet explained, Angelina Jolie filed documents to end her marriage to Pitt after just two years in September. Months later, Pitt reportedly filed for joint custody of their kids.

Following Angelina Jolie’s divorce filing, Pitt was accused of being physically abusive to his oldest son, Maddox, 15, after an alleged fight on their private plane. In early September, Pitt and Angelina Jolie had traveled with their kids from France to Los Angeles and during a short stop in Minnesota, Pitt reportedly got into a fight with their son. However, last week, the FBI closed their case against the actor and a short time prior, the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services also cleared Pitt of all charges.

Angelina Jolie has been staying in a rented Malibu, California, home since splitting from Brad Pitt, but unfortunately, according to a new report, her kids are allegedly unhappy and homesick for their former family home in Los Feliz.

“Angelina Jolie has been struggling with keeping the kids happy,” an insider told Hollywood Life. “It’s been weeks since the kids moved out of their home and they are getting homesick. The children are sad, miss the huge house they grew up in, and have been complaining to Angelina that they want to go home. The older children are not happy with the situation while the younger kids are having trouble understanding why they can’t just go home.”

Throughout their two-year marriage, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt shared numerous homes, including places in New Orleans and France and a rental in London earlier this year, but Jolie and Pitt’s kids reportedly felt that their home base has always been in Los Angeles.

“The Los Feliz home has been where the kids have spent most of their time growing up,” the insider continued. “Brad has built a huge skate ramp for the kids on the property and they all have their own rooms there too. They may have lots of houses but the Los Feliz house has always been home.”

Angelina Jolie has kept a low profile since filing for divorce, but she recently surfaced at an event for the International Criminal Court.
