Kristen Stewart Silent As Robert Pattinson Brushes FKA Twigs Wedding Update Aside, ‘Twilight’ Star Works Through Alicia Cargile And St. Vincent
Kristen Stewart had a pretty eventful summer. Not only did she premiere two movies at Cannes Film Festival 2016, but in the span of half a year, she went through three relationships, including the ones with Alicia Cargile and St. Vincent. With the winter coming, the 26-year-old actress is pulling away from the public life as her ex-boyfriend Robert Pattinson is coming to the foreground with his fiancee FKA twigs.
The British actor is back in Hollywood, possibly working on some of his movie projects. Some of the movies that he has on his docket are Good Time, Damsel, The Trap, Idol’s Eye and High Life, according to IMDb.
“Robert Pattinson made a rare appearance out and about this weekend,” reported Just Jared. “The 30-year-old actor ran some errands and hit the gym on Sunday (November 27) in Beverly Hills, Calif, this weekend – we haven’t seen Robert in several weeks since an event earlier in the month!”
He was not seen with his fiancee FKA Twigs, whom he got engaged to earlier last year.
The 30-year-old actor was seen rubbing shoulders and networking with some of Hollywood pals recently as well.
Robert Pattinson was cornered with a question about his continuously delayed wedding at a GQ event this year.
“I still feel like I’m 22 … maybe even 14,” he said to People Magazine.
He and FKA twigs got engaged “early last year but they have since postponed their nuptials,” the reasons for the delay still being unclear.
His ex-girlfriend in fact echoed this sentiment in an interview recently. When talking about the years she was involved with Twilight, she said that she remembers the days like it was just “yesterday.”
“I don’t jump right back into those memories but as soon as you see pictures, you’re like ‘Oh God, it’s like yesterday,’ ” she said according to People Magazine. “I was 17, 18, when it all went down and that was the most uncomfortable, terrible, weird thing […] At the same time it’s good. It kind of forced me to stand to attention in this way, which, I didn’t have that.”
Speaking of Twilight, the prop engagement ring that Kristen Stewart wore for her character just got auctioned off this month, fetching “a whopping $16,800.”
“The ring was just one of over 900 items that were sold over a two-day auction on November 19 and 20 by Prop Story and Lionsgate, including dozens of props, costumes and other set pieces from the popular films,” reports Daily Mail. “More than 1,000 fans and collectors participated in the bidding, both online and in person at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.”
Let’s hope that neither Kristen Stewart nor Robert Pattinson had strong attachments to them.
Having gone through three girlfriends this summer, one thing that the 26-year-old actress is not attached about is the memories of her ex-boyfriend.
“When I was dating a guy I was hiding everything that I did because everything personal felt like it was immediately trivialized, so I didn’t like it,” she told Elle UK.
“But then it changed when I started dating a girl,” she added. “I was like, ‘Actually, to hide this provides the implication that I’m not down with it or I’m ashamed of it, so I had to alter how I approached being in public. It opened my life up and I’m so much happier.”
While Kristen has not landed on someone that she truly feels right with, it looks like having relationship with women is the way to go for the young Hollywood star.
She is currently seeing St. Vincent, who broke off a long-term relationship with British model Cara Delevingne this summer, but the new couple has not been seen out in public since late October.
