‘The Voice’ Viewers Urge NBC To Ditch Miley Cyrus Amid Alleged Feud With Adam Levine

A number of vocal The Voice viewers are making it known that they don’t want to see Miley Cyrus on Season 13 of the NBC singing show, despite the network confirming that the singer and actress will be returning to her revolving chair next year.

Some fans have taken to social media to voice their opinions on Miley heading back to the show amid speculation regarding who will join her on the coaching panel for Season 13 and an alleged feud with fellow coach Adam Levine, claiming that they won’t be tuning in to the upcoming cycle of The Voice , set to air in the second half of 2017, when Cyrus returns.

“Not watching The Voice again until Miley is gone!” Twitter user and The Voice fan @LHBLOJacket recently tweeted out about Cyrus, while @DannaWyattTx wrote on the social media site that they were “not watching as long as Miley Cyrus is on. Haven’t missed an episode or season til now. #TheVoice.”

“Not watching the voice till Miley leaves. [I used] to love her, she should move to Canada like she said. The way she talks. Ewww,” @MariaBarbour78 added and @MikeAdamsWI wrote of The Voice on the social media site, “Not watching as long as attention w***e Miley is on.”

But while some fans aren’t exactly voicing their support for Miley to return to The Voice , others have actually been singing the praises of Cyrus, who joined the NBC show as a coach earlier this year.

“Miley you are one of my all time favorite coaches. You are totally awesome and now I can’t wait for Season 13!” @NIMAWEYGH wrote in support of Cyrus’s return for Season 13 of The Voice , and @vincentwangjaya tweeted, “Yahh Miley, see u soon at the Season 13. You are great in coaching. Show [you’re] genuine.”

The strong fan reaction comes shortly after NBC confirmed that Cyrus would be sitting out the next cycle and instead returning for Season 13, making way for returning coach Gwen Stefani to head back to the show with veteran coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton as well as Miley Cyrus’s fellow newbie Alicia Keys.

NBC confirmed the all-important The Voice coaching lineup last month in a statement obtained by E! News , in which president of Alternative and Reality Group at NBC Entertainment Paul Telegdy revealed, “We can’t wait to experience the unique chemistry and energy Gwen, Alicia, Blake and Adam will bring to Season 12.”

“With Miley returning for Season 13,” he continued of the upcoming seasons of The Voice , “we’re truly ecstatic about the unmatched musical know-how and talent coming together in our coming seasons.”

NBC and The Voice producers have yet to confirm who else will be by Cyrus’s side when she returns for Season 13, though the big announcement that Miley will return has caused a whole lot of speculation about who will be sitting alongside her amid rumors of a nasty feud between Cyrus and her fellow coaches that could potentially see both Levine and Shelton sit out Season 13 .

Radar Online alleged earlier this month that a feud on the set could have been the reason Cyrus was asked to return to Season 13 and not 12, claiming that The Voice producers allegedly offered Miley the opportunity to return after a hiatus in an attempt to prevent her from sitting alongside Levine for another season and to prevent any drama from brewing from Gwen replacing her.

“They offered Miley the gig for Season 13 because they know it would keep her happy,” a source alleged to the site of the apparent drama on the set, adding that asking Cyrus to return in late 2017 “would not create any drama over being replaced by Gwen” amid claims Miley has allegedly been caught up in a feud with Adam.

The site also claimed that Miley and Adam have been seriously butting heads on the show to such an extent that Levine and Shelton are allegedly “highly considering” quitting together after their 12th stint to avoid being by Cyrus’s side again.

Radar Online first alluded to a The Voice feud in a report earlier this year prior to claims that both Adam and Blake could potentially leave, alleging that Miley and Adam had supposedly been “at each other’s throats” on The Voice set amid the feud allegations.

“Miley Cyrus and Adam Levine are at each other’s throats this season and Adam acts like he cannot stand her,” a The Voice source alleged to the site of the reported nasty feud between Cyrus and her fellow coach. “[Levine] does not talk to [Cyrus] when the cameras are not rolling, and seems like he really wants nothing to do with her.”
