Is Kim Zolciak-Biermann Returning To ‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta?’
Could Season 9 of Real Housewives of Atlanta finally mark the return of Kim Zolciak-Biermann?
Kim left RHOA during Season 5, and rumors of her return have run rampant for years. But according to a new report from Celeb Dirty Laundry, Zolciak is slated to return to the show during Season 9.
Whether Kim will return to the show for good or for a one-time appearance is unclear. In an interview with People, cast member Cynthia Bailey confirmed that Zolciak-Biermann will make an appearance during the housewarming party of her long-time friend, Shereé Whitfield.
Of a full-time return for Kim, Bailey said, “I don’t know what is going to happen in the future,” but Cynthia did tell People that she would welcome Kim back to the show with open arms.
“All the original cast from the Housewives, I always take my hat out to them because they started the whole thing. Without them, we wouldn’t be here. So hey — if it’s gonna make the show better and you want to jump on the team and help keep this show no. 1, then by all means, come.”
The report from Celeb Dirty Laundry made it sound as if Kim Zolciak-Biermann may return to the show for good, despite the fact that she and her family already have their own reality show called Tardy for the Party.

“Kim has her own show called Don’t Be Tardy with her husband Kroy Biermann and their litter of children. It seems that she’ll be taking time from filming that show and RHOA,” Celeb Dirty Laundry wrote.
The rumors that Kim could be returning to Real Housewives of Atlanta began to circulate in September when former cast member NeNe Leakes told People Now host Jeremy Parsons that she had no intentions of returning to the show.
“I heard once they couldn’t work their deal out with me, they went to Kim Zolciak. When we couldn’t work the deal out on me making appearances, then they went to Kim to work the same thing, I suppose. I’m assuming she took it.”
Leakes and Zolciak, both original cast members of RHOA, have long had a contentious relationship. During her interview with Parsons, Leakes assured the host that she was being frank, saying “I’m just telling you the truth!”
According to the People report, Kim Zolciak would be taking time off from her Don’t Be Tardy taping to film RHOA.
During the interview, Leakes admitted that she thought it would be “odd” for Kim to return to the show, given that Zolciak-Biermann hasn’t had an appearance on RHOA since she stormed out of a lunch in the middle of Season 5. Still, Leakes believes that bringing Kim back to the franchise could be beneficial for the show.
“I think it’s going to be really odd. Kim hadn’t been around the show for a while. It’s going to be odd having Kim back. But I think the fans want to see her though.”
As noted by People, Kim is familiar with each of the current cast members on the show, and many of those relationships are less than friendly. Kim and Kandi Burruss, for example, faced off in a legal battle over music royalties, and Kim has been known to feud with Cynthia and Phaedra Parks. Zolciak-Biermann and Whitfield, on the other hand, have been long-time friends. Shereé also is an original cast member who left the show and opted to return later during the series.
