19 Times Donald Trump Appeared In Movies and TV Shows
Of course, Donald Trump is well known for his years of heading up The Apprentice TV shows, but did you know that he has made many more appearances in other TV series and movies? Here are just 18 of them:
The Jeffersons (1985)
Donald Trump made his first on-screen appearance playing himself in an episode of The Jeffersons in the episode called “You’ll Never Get Rich.” While on a trip to Atlantic City, Mrs. Jefferson (Isabel Sanford) was on a hunt to spot celebrities, but when she spotted them (including Trump) she didn’t recognize them.
Ghosts Can’t Do It (1989)
According to Business Insider, Trump won a Razzie Award for “Worst Supporting Actor” for his second appearance in the movie, Ghosts Can’t Do It. In the film, Trump is playing opposite Bo Derek who says, “You’re too pretty to be bad” to which he responds, “You noticed.” The movie also won Golden Raspberry awards for “Worst Picture,” “Worst Actress” and “Worst Director.”

Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992)
Perpetually forgotten child, Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin), has a short scene with Donald while in the Plaza Hotel (which Trump had purchased some time before in real life) and asks him if knows where the lobby is. Trump correctly replies, “Down the hall and to the left.”
The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (1994)
Donald Trump appeared with his then wife, Marla Maples, in the episode “For Sale by Owner” where he makes a generous offer to purchase the Bank’s family’s estate. Of course, Carlton exclaims, “It’s the Donald!” and then faints.
The Little Rascals(1994)
Donald Trump’s first acting role playing someone else, albeit a caricature of himself, was in The Little Rascals movie where he played Waldo’s father who tells his son, “Waldo, you’re the best son money can buy.”
Across the Sea of Time(1995)
According to The Atlantic, the story was a bout a stowaway embarking on a ride to Ellis Island. “Trump apparently makes a handful of ‘suitably discreet’ cameos, whatever that means,” says Adrienne LaFrance.
Eddie (1996)
Whoopi Goldberg stars in this movie about a limo driver who wins a contest to coach the New York Knicks in a stunt gimmick but ends up doing a great job in the role. Trump shows up to say, “Actually, hiring Eddie was my idea from the beginning.”
The Nanny (1996)
In one episode of The Nanny, Mr. Trump appeared as Peter Marc Jacobson, a foil to romance Fran Drescher’s character and make Mr. Sheffield (Charles Shaughnessy) selfish. According to Phoebe Maltz Bovy of Forward, Trump’s feathers were ruffled when he found out that his character was a millionaire when he himself was actually a billionaire and asked for the line to be changed. In the end, he was referenced as a zillionaire.
The Associate (1996)
Again appearing in another Whoopi Goldberg movie, Trump makes a brief appearance with Tim Daly, a former boss of Goldberg’s character in which to tell him that he can’t meet with him for lunch.
Suddenly Susan (1997)
Trump appeared in one episode of Brooke Shields sitcom playing himself who is asked to help finance a new magazine called Snazzy. Weirdly, the cover of the magazine features a photo of Donald with the line “Our Next President?” underneath.
NightMan (1997)
Donald showed up in this short-lived TV superhero series in the episode entitled “Face to Face.”
The Drew Carey Show (1997)
In an effort to boost ratings for the show’s season finale, Trump appeared along with many other guests. However, according to Newsweek, Carey himself doesn’t even remember that Trump made an appearance.
54 (1998)
Donald Trump appeared during the end credits of this movie when it appeared in theaters, but it was omitted in both the regular DVD and “director’s cut” version.
Celebrity (1998)
Donald Trump is interviewed near the end of this movie by Robin, a character played by Judy Davis. She asks him what he is currently working on and he responds with, “I’m working on buying St. Patrick’s Cathedral, maybe doing a little rip-down job and putting up a very very tall and beautiful building.”
Spin City (1998)
In the episode of “The Art of the Deal” Trump got involved in New York City’s mayor’s administration meeting with Mayor Randall Winston Jr. (Barry Bostwick) who was impressed that Trump had already written two books in his career.
Sex and The City(1999)
Trump appeared in the episode called “The Man, the Myth, the Viagra” where he makes a business deal with a character who was in a relationship with Samantha (Kim Cattrall). According to the L.A. Times, he doesn’t do much more than point out the Trump Tower.

Zoolander (2001)
Donald Trump is just one of many cameos that are filled in this spoof of high fashion models in which he says at a red carpet event, “Look, without Derek Zoolander, male modeling wouldn’t be what it is today.”
Two Week’s Notice (2002)
In this Sandra Bullock and Hugh Grant comedy, Grant’s character, Wade, hangs out with Trump at a party. Trump asks Wade who his new chief counsel is (Bullock) while suggesting that he might want to steal her away.
Monk (2002)
Donald played an uncredited role in “Mr. Monk and the Psychic” as “one of the men in the party.”
