‘Dance Moms’ Season 7 Spoilers: Abby Lee Miller Forms ‘One Super Team,’ Minis To Replace Elites? [WATCH]
Dance Moms Season 7 premieres Tuesday, November 29, on Lifetime. Called “Fight For Your Life,” Episode 1 takes place eight weeks after Kalani Hilliker, Kendall Vertes, Brynn Rumfallo, and Nia Frazer, together with their moms, left ALDC LA.
According to the official synopsis and latest spoilers, the premiere episode will see Abby Lee Miller talking to the elite team, possibly trying to get them back to ALDC. The coach explained that she had quite some time to think of the studio’s future.
“Do you want these kids on your studio or not?” Jill Vertes asked, clearly tired of Abby dillydallying.
In the sneak peek clip for Dance Moms Season 7 Episode 1, Abby revealed that she wanted to form “one super team.” She did not explain if she was getting rid of the minis or the junior elite. What she only said was she was definitely sending some of the girls home by the end of the week.
“I need winners on this team. I’m creating one super team. I want to go back to the glory days and in order to do that, we have to get rid of who’s holding this team back. Nobody’s safe.”
Jill predicted that Abby only brought the junior elite back so she could get her revenge. Kendall’s mom said that there’s a possibility that they would all go home in the end and get replaced by the minis, something that Abby said so herself.
“You might be taking somebody’s place that you have watched for years,” Abby told the minis.
In the Season 6 finale of Dance Moms, Abby Lee Miller claimed that she doesn’t need the junior elite because she already has the minis. The ALDC coach even said that the minis were better than Kalani, Kendall, Nia, and Brynn when they were their age. She predicted that it won’t be long before they become stars. Abby added that she preferred working with the minis and their moms because they treat her with respect.
The minis’ moms were clearly thrilled that Abby is focusing all her attention to the new team.
“I think Abby needs to finally sit down and realize which team is looking out for her, which team wants to work with her, because the answer to all those questions is the mini team,” Stacey, Lilliana’s mom, said.
Even if the junior elites only got third place at the Sheer Talent Competition, Kalani, Kendall, Brynn, Nia, and their moms were still proud of the choreography. They held that Erin Babbs and Will Johnston did a great job in pushing the team, creating a new routine that challenges the girls.
“Erin is a better coach from afar than Abby is up close,” Kira said.
Based on the Dance Moms Season 6 finale episode, Kalani, Brynn, Kendall, and Nia had no intentions of ever going back to ALDC LA. During their routine, the girls all wanted to show Abby what they can do without her holding them back.
“I really want to remind her why she put me on the team in the first place. She needs to grow up a little bit. I mean why would we want to go back?” Brynn said.
Although their new choreography under Ellen didn’t win first place, the moms and the junior elite are not ready to throw in the towel just yet. Jill said that they will do everything to make it work outside of ALDC.
“You know what, maybe we do hate Abby but if we do it’s because she made us hate her. I don’t know where were going. I don’t know what were gonna do but were gonna make it work and its not gonna be at the ALDC LA.”
