Kristen Stewart’s ‘Twilight’ Engagement Ring Sold, Relationship Rumors

Kristen Stewart’s fans were thrilled to find that items worn or used by the cast of the Twilight series of films were finally going under the hammer, according to the Daily Mail.

Twilight fans were able to bid on thousands of items that had been featured in the popular film series. The items, which had “all been in storage since the studio stopped production when the last film came out about four years ago,” according to the Daily Mail, went under the hammer in a two-day event which saw bids from thousands of Twilight fans in person and online.

The highest price fetched for any one item was for the engagement ring that was given by Robert Pattinson’s character to Kristin Stewart’s character in the film series. Initially valued at $3,000-$5,000, the ring was bought by an “unnamed fan” for $16,800.

Kristen Stewart achieved widespread acclaim when she played the role of Bella Swan in The Twilight Saga series. These movies served as a launch-pad for her career because she then went on to work in other notable movies like Snow White and the Huntsman, On The Road, and Still Alice.

For many fans of the Twilight films, Kristen Stewart will be remembered as the love interest of Edward Cullen, the vampire played by Robert Pattinson. Stewart and Pattinson’s on-screen romance became so intriguing that fans had high expectations when they started dating in real life. Although the actress liked Robert, she was never serious about her relationship with him, and she later declared that their much-publicized romance was a “comic book relationship.”

However, it soon became apparent that their hyped-up romance was never meant to succeed, because Stewart soon started a relationship with Alicia Cargile, Hollywood’s famous visual effects coordinator. However, their relationship didn’t last long, and the couple went their separate ways.

It is now rumored that Stuart is currently involved with St. Vincent, Cara Delevingne’s ex-girlfriend. According to E!, Kristen Stewart revealed that her relationship with Robert Pattinson changed when she started dating female celebrities.

“It changed when I started dating a girl. I was like, ‘Actually, to hide this provides the implication that I’m not down with it or I’m ashamed of it,’ so I had to alter how I approached being in public.”

The actress further revealed that she’s very happy now that she’s broadened her horizon with respect to romantic relationships.

Stewart and St. Vincent appear to be very compatible, and the celebrities are often spotted together, holding hands and kissing. Hollywood Life reported that Kristen Stewart and St. Vincent were recently seen enjoying each other’s company in New York City.

Even though Kristen Stewart and St. Vincent haven’t confirmed their romantic relationship, speculations are rife about their apparent closeness, and it’s clear they morally support each other in their professional ventures. Recently, St. Vincent attended the premiere of Certain Women, Stewart’s recently released movie; while Stewart attended St. Vincent’s Los Angeles concert. Many fans believe the two celebrities are moving fast in their relationship, as both have recently broken up with former partners.

Earlier, fans of The Twilight Saga accused Kristen Stewart of betraying Robert Pattinson when she was rumored to be in a relationship with director Rupert Sanders. In fact, many fans and media personnel attacked the actress for her indiscretions. But, the media frenzy didn’t worry Stewart, and she managed to ignore the allegations.

Kristen Stewart often credits Dakota Fanning, her co-star in the Twilight series, for providing much-needed support to brave the media attacks against her. Although she’s never been in a relationship with Fanning, the two stars share a good relationship. Stewart’s attachment to Fanning became evident when the Equals actress attended the premiere of Dakota’s upcoming movie. Just Jared reported that Stewart recently visited New York’s Museum of Modern Art to attend the premiere of American Pastoral, Dakota Fanning’s upcoming film, directed by Ewan McGregor.

On the professional front, Kristen Stewart’s Hollywood career is not showing any signs of slowing down, because the actress is reportedly featuring in Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk, Ang Lee’s war drama about a U.S. soldier who returns to his country after a harrowing experience in the Iraq war. Kristen Stewart will be playing the role of the protagonist’s older sister and, according to MTV, Stewart believes that her latest film projects have taken her to a new level, and she’s looking forward to venturing into the field of direction.
