Mariah Carey Thanksgiving Photoshop Fail? Fans Call Her Out After She Posts Warped Photo [Video]

Mariah Carey fans aren’t buying the singer’s latest Instagram pic. After Mariah posted a provocative Turkey Day photo, she’s being called out for what looks like a very obvious Photoshop failure. The picture in question was posted to Mariah Carey’s Instagram account on Thanksgiving Day and features the sultry 46-year-old songstress in a cut-down-to-there, skin-tight top and painted on jeans.

Unfortunately, as Hollywood Life reports, some of the “lovely lady lumps” Mariah Carey is sporting in the snapshot look a lot like tell-tale Photoshop warping, not sexy curves.

At first glance, nothing is apparently amiss in Mariah Carey’s Instagram post, but discerning viewers very quickly picked out some stuff that clearly indicates the likelihood that fans are seeing a Photoshop-edited image and not the real deal. The saddest part to some (many of whom took to social media to put Mariah on blast for the Photoshop faux pas) is that she was looking well nigh perfect before she apparently started playing around with the editing tools.

If Mariah Carey had been as comfortable in her own skin as her sexy pose (and sky-high heels) portray, she could have pulled off this pic without the obvious Photoshop edits. As it stands, it looks like Carey is much more talented at singing and dancing than photo editing, because some of her mess-ups are pretty obvious. She might have thought her thighs or upper arms were imperfections, but fixing them made parts of Mariah Carey’s Instagram photo look like warps in the space-time continuum.

First, that pie-holding shoulder. Mariah Carey may not have been happy with the appearance of her upper arm, but whatever she did to “fix” the issue left her looking like she had a second, painfully misplace shoulder joint. There’s a big, very noticeable bump in her arm that blends into the warped mirror behind her.

Not even her impressive cleavage is enough to draw the viewers eyes away from that glaringly apparent Photoshop mistake.

The second point of contention? Mariah Carey’s apparently edited thigh and the bizarrely curved cupboard door (that looks like it might be being sucked into a tiny black hole) behind Mariah’s leg. Apparently, neither curve is as nature intended it to be, and fans (or maybe not “fans,” but nameless, faceless “frenemies”) of Ms. Carey pointed out the strangeness of both on social media.

Background warping and bizarrely curved and bumped body parts (and inaccurately represented mirror reflections) are tell-tale signs that someone has been editing their appearance using Photoshop or other filters.

Of course, not everyone saw the edits (or attempted edits) to Mariah Carey’s Thanksgiving photo. Most didn’t even see the pie that she was supposedly showing off. Not with that outfit or her admittedly smoking body.

A hot body that Mariah Carey she showed off all Thanksgiving on Instagram; her other pics seemed to involve less Photoshop, but all featured that belly-button baring neckline and the sky-high stilettos. In fact, apparently that’s Mariah’s grocery shopping outfit, and as her other pics prove, Mimi is far from shy when it comes to risque public displays.

So, where were her little ones in the midst of all this Thanksgiving sexiness? It looks like Mariah Carey’s kids were spending their Thanksgiving with dad Nick Cannon while Mariah whipped up something tasty.

Eventually, the whole family seems to have gotten together for a Turkey Day meal; a pic of the Carey/Cannon clan ended up on Instagram, too. In the family photo, Mariah Carey was donning a higher neckline and seemed to have left the Photoshop behind.

Even though it looks like Mariah Carey tried (and failed) to get away with some Photoshop funny games, not everyone who caught on called her out on it. While a good number of her so-called fans appeared to be angry to a perplexing degree, others shared their love and support (and advice) to Mariah. They wanted to let her know that she is already beautiful — no need for the edits and theatrics.
