Ben Affleck And Jennifer Garner Set To Renew Vows, Expecting Baby No. 4 — What’s True And False?

It’s been a year and a half since Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner announced their shocking split, and yet the couple has still not finalized their divorce. With the pair still making public appearances together, rumors of reconciliation abound. What’s true and false about their future together?

According to People, Affleck and Garner stepped out last weekend for a quick breakfast in Santa Monica. The Batman v Superman star opted for dark pants and a bomber jacket while Garner looked casual in jeans and a tank top.

The couple announced their breakup in June of 2015, shortly after their 10-year anniversary. Despite the divorce, Affleck and Garner committed to raising their children in a healthy environment. The pair had three children during their 10 years of marriage – Violet, 10, Seraphina, seven, and Samuel, four.

The last time they ventured out in public was on Nov. 4 in Los Angeles. Two months prior, the stars dined together at a restaurant in Santa Monica. Their children did not attend the dinner date, which only sparked more rumors of a possible reconciliation.

“We are definitely a modern family,” Garner admitted this summer. “We’re doing really well.”

The actress confirmed that she and Affleck put their “children first” in all matters, and spending time with the kids is hugely important. “It has to be,” she stated. “You don’t have a choice.”

As far as Affleck is concerned, an insider revealed that he is just as concerned about spending time with the children. “He’s putting on a united front out of respect for the children and for her and for each other,” the source explained. “On that Ben has never wavered.”

To add to the rumors, the Hollywood Gossip is reporting that Affleck still lives with Garner in Los Angeles. Admittedly, the actor lives in a separate building on their massive estate, but that hasn’t stopped fans from wondering if he and Garner are giving their marriage a second chance.

Affleck’s actions have also sparked rumors that another baby is on the way. “Jen couldn’t be happier,” a source shared. “All she’s ever wanted is for Ben to stop boozing and partying — and to recommit to their family. With this new baby on the way, he’s making all the right promises.”

The source claims that Garner filed for divorce because she was angry with Affleck’s affair with their children’s nanny, Christine Ouzounian. Not only does she want Affleck back, but she wants their family to be whole once more.

“While Jennifer called it quits, she never wanted a divorce,” the insider revealed. “Jen wants them to be a real family again — and they can, if Ben quits acting like a 20-year-old trapped in a 40-year-old’s body.”

Of course, none of these rumors have been substantiated, especially the reports of Garner’s pregnancy. In fact, an insider told Gossip Cop that Garner is not trying to get pregnant in order to save the marriage. Instead, the source admitted that the pregnancy rumors were completely “false.”

At the same time, Gossip Cop also debunked reports that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner recently renewed their wedding vows. The reports surfaced soon after the pair’s recent public outing and claim that they renewed vows during a secret ceremony.

“Jen took Ben back because, against all odds, he made good on his promise to clean up his act and be a better husband,” an insider revealed. “And to top it all off, their friends now believe that Jen is pregnant, and everyone is buzzing that she already has that special glow. They couldn’t be more excited about the future!”

Despite the optimistic report, an insider told the outlet that the rumors couldn’t be further from the truth. “It’s just not true,” a rep of Affleck shared. “There is lots of love there and they continue their devotion to their kids.”

While fans continue to guess about the couple’s future, Daily Mail is reporting that Zoe Saldana recently gushed about working with Affleck on Live By Night. What did the Guardians of the Galaxy star say about Affleck’s work?

“I would never have considered gangster movies,” she admitted. “I just told myself: ‘Why not just work with Ben Affleck? Why not just play an Afro-Cuban that sells molasses to make rum in the 1920s in Florida?'”

When it comes to Affleck, Saldana had nothing but kind words to share. “He just has a great deal of empathy for what we go through as actors, so his dynamic on a set is much friendlier, much more relaxed, more leveled,” she noted. “Every day, every scene, every conversation I would have with Ben, I just felt really hooked. Like: ‘Okay, whatever input I’m adding, he’s really considering it.'”
