Hillary Clinton Urged To Challenge Election Results In Three Key States, Vote Totals Could Have Been Hacked [Video]
Hillary Clinton and her campaign team have reportedly received some pretty insistent urging to challenge the results of the general election — at least in three states. Unfortunately for Donald Trump, those three states are Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan; all vital swing states that changed the outcome of the election in Trump’s favor. So why is Hillary being urged to challenge the election results?

As CNN reports, the reason is could be a game changer for Clinton, Trump, and the entire nation. That’s because a group of computer scientists have found some disturbing evidence that vote totals in all three states could have been altered or even hacked, resulting in Clinton’s unexpected losses. The call advising Hillary Clinton to challenge election results that have already been reported was reportedly made last Thursday.
The call was reportedly received by top Clinton aides, and what the computer scientists who uncovered the potential problem discovered and reported to the team was shocking.

According to the scientists, they discovered a pattern in the voting results in all three swing states that indicated that Hillary Clinton did much worse in counties that used electronic voting machines as opposed to paper ballots. On average, Clinton got roughly 7 percent less votes in areas that used electronic voting machines than in areas that relied on paper ballots. The computer scientists allege that one reason for this disparity could be that the voting machines may have been hacked or manipulated, thus resulting in a false election night outcome and Hillary Clinton loss.
Go for it @HillaryClinton, this election must be recounted. Something isn't right. #AuditTheElection #recount @TheJusticeDept pic.twitter.com/ZRReSvBBnm

So far the scientists haven’t found any direct evidence that hacking was used to impact the vote totals, but they do believe that what they did uncover is enough for Hillary Clinton to challenge the election results and demand an independent investigation into the troubling pattern.
Particularly when it is noted that Clinton rival Donald Trump has lost the popular vote at a historic level. As USA Today reports, Hillary Clinton is now winning the popular vote by over 2 million votes, as of Wednesday.
“As of mid-day Wednesday, Wasserman’s spread sheet had Clinton at 64,225,863 votes to Trump’s 62,210,612.”

Hey, @HillaryClinton! Circle the wagons, sis. We going in for a swing state recount and shutting down this nazi nonsense.

Hillary’s popular vote lead, however, has largely been cemented by her victories in heavily populated urban areas, and has virtually no impact on the swing states that cost her the election. However, rigged or otherwise manipulated voting machines could have had an impact on the election outcome, which is why Hillary Clinton is being urged to challenge the election results in states where computer scientists believe the problem might have been a reality.
It appears that Hillary may have just gotten some political support for a recount, and from an unlikely source. As NBC News reports, failed Green Party candidate Jill Stein has come forward with a fundraising effort to see to it that the votes in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin are recounted so that Hillary Clinton can challenge the election results if necessary.
“After a divisive and painful presidential race, reported hacks into voter and party databases and individual email accounts are causing many Americans to wonder if our election results are reliable. These concerns need to be investigated before the 2016 presidential election is certified. We deserve elections we can trust.”

According to Jill Stein’s fundraising efforts, she will need to raise more than $2 million by 4 p.m. CST on November 25 to cover the costs of having the votes in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin recounted. Bear in mind, Stein has no real dog in this fight. Regardless of what happens with the recount efforts, Jill Stein isn’t going to advance further politically.
The only person who might get some benefit from a recount would be Hillary Clinton, who lost the general election largely due to losing Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania.
But there’s a very small chance that a recount in those states could boost Clinton. Trump won Michigan by about 9,500 votes, Wisconsin by 22,500 votes, and Pennsylvania by 69,700. If a recount shows substantial discrepancies, it could give Hillary Clinton the boost she needs to really challenge the election results, and possibly even change the outcome.

Particularly if the computer scientists are correct, and something funny was going on with the electronic voting machines in those three states.
According to the computer scientists and other activists that have encouraged Hillary Clinton and her campaign to challenge the general election results, the disparity between pre-election polls and the outcome of the election was absolutely unprecedented. That, combined with reported irregularities between Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania’s paper ballot results vs. electronic voting machines regarding support for Clinton is enough to lead many to believe that it would be in Hillary’s best interest to challenge the election results before the Electoral College votes are tallied in December.

So far, neither Hillary Clinton’s campaign, nor the Donald Trump transition team have commented on the possibility of the election results being challenged in the three critical swing states.
What do you think? Could the computer scientists be on to something? Could it be significant enough to change the outcome of the 2016 election? Do you think Hillary Clinton has just cause to challenge the election results, or should she simply let it go?
