What Major ‘TWD’ Character Should Die In The Walking Dead Season 7? [Poll]
The Walking Dead Season 7 is likely escalating considering Negan’s mental degenerative attitude towards others, even if they do cooperate. The fact that he said the Saviors are “reasonable people” is salt poured in an already festering wound of Rick’s state of mind. Michonne, Maggie, Sasha, and a whole slew of others are coming up with ways to find intel on Negan and the Saviors.
With this sadistic and merciless antagonist in the picture along with his numerous Saviors, it will be inevitable that additional characters will die, right? Since Robert Kirkman doesn’t hold back in killing off the most beloved in the bunch, there’s no telling who will be next.
If you could get into the creative mind of Kirkman, which major character do you think should be killed off in season seven of The Walking Dead?

There has been speculation and predictions made on who will be next, but about six months ago Robert Kirkman was answering fan questions at the Hawaii Comic Con. A stunning revelation was made as he may have likely given away some spoiler material. Although he didn’t mention character deaths for Season 7, he did reveal deaths for the entire series which still includes this season.

“Rick, Carl, Michonne. In the show, Daryl Dixon, eventually Abraham, Rosita. Rosita’s already dead in the comics. Jesus.”
Did the last name in Robert’s quote also include the agile Hilltop Colony character?
Rick Grimes
This is not likely to happen in Season 7, and although Robert Kirkman said he’ll meet his demise, it’ll be later in the series as Rick is pretty much part of a cohesive unit for the Alexandria community. Although he’s submitted to Negan’s will, he did stand up to the mouthy Spencer. His strength lies within the bigger picture that likely goes beyond season seven. Screen Rant made a comparison when writing off characters on NBC’s Scrubs or The Office, where such a move can send ratings down the tubes, so it would make sense to keep him around.
Daryl Dixon
This gentleman is a fan favorite played by Norman Reedus and is not in the comics whatsoever. He is indeed a survivor that has a strong will, even in the vicinity of Negan. However, it seems he may have run his course by now. What do you think? Do you think that Dwight will take on the mantle of Daryl in The Walking Dead beyond Season 7 as he’s gotten used to using the crossbow?
Carol
The ever vigilant Carol took on the Wolves and while being the same predator in sheep’s clothing baking cookies, she may last quite a while as she’s a fan favorite. Considering Carol is beloved The Walking Dead has been known to take that away from the audience to invoke emotion as it’s the nature of the beast. Living on the outer fringes of The Kingdom may be risky, but with King Ezekiel on her doorstep with Shiva, she may have all the protection she needs.
Michonne
This samurai sword wielding Walking Dead warrior is a tough bird and quite on par with finding a way to oppose Negan and the Saviors. When it comes to shows like this, one may think that things are going to well for a character that the writers might prematurely kill of her off. Michonne has a romance going on with Rick Grimes, and she’s also more connected with him on a personal level at the end of The Walking Dead’s Episode 4. Do you think she’ll meet her demise if things are going well for her?

Carl Grimes
The Walking Dead rumor mill was running the gambit regarding a recent buzz about Chandler Riggs leaving the show. Apparently, a social media post via his own father expressed this possibility. This would be quite an interesting turn of events since he had a warm moment with Enid while skating their way hand-in-hand to Hilltop Colony. This would be unnerving considering Robert Kirkman’s comment that includes him among those to die in the series.
Maggie And Sasha
This pairing is now inseparable, and a recent post by ComicBook.com speculated why Sasha could be up on the chopping block. They compared a comic book version Sasha incarnate, Holly. The premise is similar as Abraham fell in love with Holly (Sasha on TV) and broke up with Rosita.

The two things that Sasha and Holly have in common is their sacrificial nature which in time could be the end of Sasha. She had demonstrated this when Gregory tried to send Maggie off on her own, but Sasha offered to swap places. Her belief system could lead up to a sacrificial departure from The Walking Dead world.
Maggie may likely be around for the long haul because her longevity and leadership in the comics would likely keep Lauren Cohan’s version intact.
Rosita
The Walking Dead season seven continues as Rosita tries to rid herself of that nasty visual of Abraham’s death. She is likely to be one of the more expendable characters, but since she has longevity her death could have an impact on the audience, but less with the Alexandria group.
Morgan
This master of martial arts is in the safe haven of The Kingdom for now. King Ezekiel has taken him on to teach one of his knights weapons combat. Who knows that Morgan may wind up as a “lieutenant” of sorts to the king, training other members of the community. Could he lead the pack towards victory against the Saviors after they’ve fattened them all up with zombie infested pork?
The Walking Dead Season 7 still has others alive. It was rumored that this Sunday’s Episode 5 could introduce an Oceanside community. Heath and Tara are still scrounging for supplies. They could be still imperative to the show. Will Spencer lack guts? Are there others that will die? Feel free to comment.
