Brad Pitt Moving On With Margot Robbie? How Angelina Jolie Tried To Block Him From Working With His ‘Crush’

Is Brad Pitt dating another blonde? A month following Angelina Jolie’s divorce filing, the Allied star has allegedly sparked a romance with Margot Robbie.

An insider told OK! Magazine that Pitt is trying his hardest to work alongside Robbie on a new project. With Jolie no longer around to stop him, Pitt’s wish might come true.

“He thinks she’s the hottest girl in Hollywood right now,” the source revealed. “[Pitt] tried to woo her for numerous movie projects. This was a sore subject with Angie who blocked them from working together a few times. Now that he’s single again you can expect Brad to go after Margot with a passion.”

According to Hollywood Life, Jolie tried to prevent her husband from working with Robbie on several different occasions. Despite her attempts to keep Pitt to herself, the actor found a way to work Robbie into his movie, The Big Short, according to inside sources.

“Even though she tried many times, Angelina was not able to block Brad from working with Margot. Brad went behind Angelina’s back and used his Hollywood connections to get Margot a short cameo in the film he produced…”

Pitt is the president of plan B Films and has big plans for Robbie, who is being called “the new Angelina Jolie.” Robbie also has a history of onscreen romances with Hollywood’s hottest stars, including Will Smith.

In fact, during their time together on Suicide Squad, photos surfaced of Robbie and Smith getting extra cozy on set. Smith eventually addressed the rumors, telling fans on social media, “It’s disappointing that goofing around on set could be taken so out of context.”

Pitt, meanwhile, looked more than happy during his first public outing since the divorce announcement. The World War Z star stepped out on the red carpet for the premiere of his newest film, Allied.

“It’s really sweet, everyone has been really kind out here,” he told cameras. “It’s really nice to have all the support.”

Pitt’s new movie wasn’t without its share of controversy. According to People, Pitt was embroiled in rumors of an affair with his Allied co-star, Marion Cotillard, just prior to the divorce news.

When asked about filming intimate scenes alongside Pitt, Cotillard told the outlet that sex scenes are not as glamorous as they look. “Let’s imagine you’re with your wife – in bed, or anywhere, like here,” the actress said on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. “And then all those people are watching. Cameras, like… 50 people are watching.”

Despite the rumors of an affair, it’s anyone’s guess if Pitt is ready for another relationship so soon following the divorce. He does, however, have a history of dating blondes. The Seven star once dated Gwyneth Paltrow and was married to Jennifer Aniston.

For her part, Robbie is currently dating Tom Ackerley. Robbie has been with the film director for three years. Despite their lengthy romance, an insider revealed that “dating someone else won’t bother him at all.” Does this mean Robbie is open to hooking up with Brad Pitt?

“Brad has had his eyes on Margot for years,” a source revealed. “He jumped at the chance of working with her so he could spend time with the actress he’s had a bit of a crush on.”

That being said, Pitt’s divorce with Jolie isn’t anywhere close to being finalized. With the breakup still fresh on his mind, Hollywood Life reports that it seems a little too early for the actor to be moving on to another relationship, especially considering the custody battle ahead.

“Brad has no desire to date or get involved in any new relationships,” an insider told the outlet.

Pitt is currently dealing with a lot of drama. Along with facing an emotional breakup with the Tomb Raider star, Pitt and Jolie are set to battle it out in court for joint custody of their six children – Maddox (15), Pax (12), Zahara (11), Shiloh (10), and 8-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

Jolie requested full physical custody of the kids on her first petition. Pitt recently countered with a joint custody request on his official answer. Pitt’s filing came days after he was cleared of child abuse investigations by the FBI and the L.A. Department of Child and Family Services.

Pitt came under fire after reports surfaced of an incident between him and Maddox on a private plane. Eyewitnesses claim that Pitt got abusive, but the actor was found innocent of all charges and is ready to fight for joint custody.

After Pitt’s red carpet appearance, E! News is reporting that Jolie has officially made her first public showing in months. The actress released a video recording of herself promoting the International Criminal Court’s new policy for children.

“Successful prosecution and new legal benchmark, whether at the ICC or elsewhere is part of the long and vital generational effort,” Jolie said in the clip. “That is the light in which I believe the court’s new policy on children should be seen.”

The actress wore little makeup during the video and appeared onscreen wearing a black blazer. Jolie continued, “I particularly welcome the commitment to include charges for crimes against children wherever the evidence permits as part of a more systematic approach. I congratulate the office of the chief prosecutor, and all those working on the policy.”
